I'm having a bit of a nightmare with this demo. The Mac version has simply ceased to be able to load (something about a missing font...error?), while the PC version completely freezes up my laptop as soon as I press 'Play Match'.

Does anyone have any solutions to either of these probs?

I called off his players' names as they came marching up the steps behind him....All nice guys. They'll finish last. Nice guys. Finish last.

I've just spent the last hour or so trying all of the different things suggested in the link Dante provide and still no joy :(

All runs fine, then hit 'play match' and ....... it freezes the whole machine! Does anyone else have the same problems, or even any ideas about what I could do to fix it? I'm becoming quite irrationally upset by the whole thing!

I just.....I just want to play a game....

I haven't played FM since the 2006 PSP version. How daunting will the PC version be for a FM n00b?

Fairly daunting, but there's no reason why you can't get used to it. The game has a decent help feature and you can always ask people on here or on Football Manager sites for help if you can't figure certain things out.

Yes, that is what forums are for. But you are posting from within the DSG corporate network plugging the game.

We just like to take the piss.
