Started a game as QPR, League Two was boring me. Hate starting new games, absolutely no idea on my strenghts, weaknesses, no scouting database built up and a bunch of unfit players. :x

Started a game a while ago with Forest, now top of the league in January - very tight budget but managed to bring in a few defenders on a free (Fernando Vega at LB has been class). Ishmael Miller and Radoslav Majewski have probably been my best players so far, Miller is a great goalscorer but his all round play can be frustrating as strawberry float.

Also had one my best weeks ever in FM when I beat Cardiff 1-8 away in the league (they're like 22nd), then went on to beat Man City 3-1 in the FA Cup (and hit the woodwork 4 strawberry floating times!) This is after they smashed us 4-0 in the league cup.

QPR save got corrupted mid-season, started again as Norwich.

Trying to offload a bunch of middling, Championship/leftover League 1 players to sign some decent Prem players is proving difficult. Signed Lomana LuaLua ( 8-) ) on a free after he impressed on trial, got 2 goals and some assists on his debut alongside a new centre back.

Played 6 games pre-season, scored 35 goals and conceded 0. Four 8-0 wins on the bounce now.

After listening to the Arsenal game on the radio the other day I've been tempted to start a game as them and sort them out. I have a feeling it might be quite easy though, playing as the massive clubs usually has been in past FMs.

I've reached a point of fatigue with my usual Sunderland game, haven't really played it in a couple of weeks. The second season started really well, was in the top four after about 9 or 10 games, struggling in Europe League though as Lille thrashed us and then Arsenal put 5 past us in the league afterwards. The start of the downward spiral.

I'm still going on the Swansea save, on the 3rd season and I got Sturridge on a free 8-) Caulker and Bartley are a beast of a central defensive partnership, solid 8th place last season.

I should really keep going on my Crewe save but I can't bring myself to go back to it at the moment.

Not been playing since Christmas, been distracted by the likes of The Old Republic. Might crack on with my Swansea save this weekend as I'm back home without my PC so only got FM on my laptop.

Will let you all know how I get on!

I got promoted with Mansfield last night!

Beat Fleetwood Town in the Play-Off Final 3-2 and now I'm in League 2. When I got the team they were ninth, six months later they got promoted, and to my shame - the Blue Square Premier Play-Off Winners Trophy is the only Football Manager trophy I've ever won!

When other clubs come in for you...how does it happen? Do you have to be out of contract - or do they approach you? Mansfield want me to sign a new contract but I'm not sure if that stops better offers coming in?

Want to get back into this after getting thoroughly bored with my last game in it. No point though as I know there'll be a new patch in about a weeks time

I doubt the patch will come until the end of February at the earliest, to be honest. Unless you download one of the fan-made updates.

In my 6th season with Brighton, in the Champions League and doing well. Offered a job by Man City with a transfer budget of £108million! I've been working on £10 million a season at Brighton! Not sure I can bring myself to leave to club I have built up though :(

True, its already screaming "play me" at me ever since I finished playing through Skyward Sword  Might start a game with West Ham or my customary Forest game and see if I can get them promoted.

Never play this game after drinking. I just put a Celtic team out in a cup game without a single sub. :fp:

Wise words there, mate. And especially avoid drinking during the transfer window. Christ, some of the drunken signings I've made....

I called off his players' names as they came marching up the steps behind him....All nice guys. They'll finish last. Nice guys. Finish last.

I relented and started a new game in this with Nottingham Forest. Unfortunately with my almost non-existent transfer budget I didn't have much room to manoeuvre in the market.

Sold Tudgay to Peterborough for £250k. Promoted Kieron Freeman from the Reserves as extra full-back cover and brought in some experience by signing Lomana Lua Lua, Marco Materazzi and Lee Young Pyo on free transfers.

So far we're doing ok. Drew away to Reading, at home to Bristol City and beat Doncaster Rovers away. Also beat Hartelpool in the League Cup 1st Round, and Marco Materazzi scored two on his debut including a brilliant free kick. Looking for a few kids from Premiership clubs on loan and hopefully I'll have enough to take us up!

Really been getting into this the past few nights  Started as Tranmere managed to bring in Kadlec  Sterling and Morrison. First season i win 4 trophys. Kadlec is my too scorer with 57 Goals. The lad is 19.

So My second season starts and the owners have chucked a bit of Money forward for me. Scored a blinder and got Tiote from Newcastle for 3 million! Absolute steal. Then brought in another striker, Little spanish lad called Juanmi*

7 games played, im 5 pts clear at the top with Kadlec and Juno* 14 and 12 Goals respectively! Premier league here we come! :o

Edit - 10 Games in. Juno breaks his leg :(
Unbeaten in every game so far, doing well in the Europa cup. Chairman sells the club. Im in Limbo now, No idea whats going to happen to me :x Will inform you shortly

Image

I survived! Fans kicked off when they heard about the possibility of me being given the boot
Stadium Plans are still a go and the construction work has begun for a new training ground and separate Youth facilities!

Training ground will be done 2013, Stadium 2015 :(
When asking if there was a chance of a payrise :shifty: which got knocked back immediately, i happened to notice  Finances - RICH!
Papa Joel is gunna get himself some new shoes!

Edit - January now, The likes of Barca Madrid and the 2 Manchester clubs are sniffing around some of my players. :x Kadlec came to speak to me personally saying he was comitted to staying with the club, Boom new contract with a 40 million B.O.C
Juno got himself a 1 year contract extension with a 25 million B.OC.

Brought in a centre back from Genoa he's called Diego Polenta 20 years old and is running an Average rating of 8.2 8-) Wont be long before people come after him too :(

New chairman came to speak to me offered me a new contract to show the fans and the players that i was staying. This is after a few teams have been sniffing around me 8-) All the players are happy that i've decided to stay! They love me!

So got this. Very enjoyable so far, brought in Willian, Eriksen and Sanogo for my Man Utd team. Started off really slowly as I tried to get my formation sorted out. I'm 4th after 12 games but I'm getting into a good run of form now. 13 points behind City though, they've won their first 12 matches  :fp:

Been playing this loads recently, and for the first time ever, i've decided to try and go from bottom to top with a club. I went with Woking (well, my girlfriend picked it as she said that I should be working instead of playing FM. I won the Blue Square Bet South in my first attempt by 9 points, scoring 87 goals! 8 games in to my next season in the Blue Square Bet Premier and i'm 9th with 4 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats. I've signed some right cracking players like Dean Bouzanis, Loris Karius (signed on a free, worth 120k), Trent McClenahan, Maxine Blanchard, Alex Wynter, Andrew Giallombardo, Stern John, Martin Reilly, Pablo Counago and Craig Clay who are probably a bit too good for the league to be honest.

I'm asking for Parent Clubs at every oppotunity but have only ended up with Chesterfield so far unfortunately. My finances are absolutely terrible too, am losing money every month due to wages, but I can't sell any players, i've had to release loads from their contract. Going to have to have a clearout come January to reduce the wages and try and get some players in on short-term loans to not mess up the 4 player maximum of long term ones.

Good fun!
