Sky seem to think we're close to signing Firmino...not sure why we'd want another attacking midfielder.

He's played up front for Brazil apparently so maybe LVG sees him as playing up there. Quite adaptable according to my hasty research :shifty:

I've done the same research myself since posting that. I would imagine his versatility is what appeals to LVG he seems to like players who can play different positions.

BT have announced BT Sport: Ultra HD (3,840 x 2,160 pixels, 50 frames per second) is launching on 2nd August. You will need BT Infinity, their new Ultra HD box, and an Ultra HD compatible TV. Prices TBC.

First match will be the Community Shield between Chelsea and Arsenal. The Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, Scottish Professional Football League, Aviva Premiership Rugby, NBA and squash (?!) will also feature on the channel.

Impressive. In ten years time I may have a TV capable of displaying it.

50 frames a second seems odd.

Currently stuck in Manchester with no plans after Fleetwood Mac cancelled tonight last minute. Taking the positives, it means I can watch the Wales v Belgium game tonight. Anyone have any recommendations for good pubs in Manchester to watch the football, preferably near-ish Piccadilly station?

The North Quarter is nearby, try around there?

Try Tib Street Tavern in the Northern Quarter. Ten minutes' walk from Piccadilly.

Cheers for the suggestions, Tib Street Tavern looks pretty good. Our hotel is actually right by the Northern Quarter so will have a wander round later and see what's about.

Where would be the best place to go to buy share(s) in Real Oviedo? Looking at purchasing some and I need a project for the summer.

I don't think they're selling shares anymore are they?
