How do you know how much he has drunk?

That was my thought, obviously DML was there.

He could be a massive lightweight, had 4 cans and passed out. Being as they don't really drink during the season, it could be he can't handle his beer. And ffs 19 years old. Give him a break. Sacrifice :fp:

My thoughts as well, i'm just waiting for the 'but he's a role model' crap line soon as well. That normally gets wheeled out whenever a pro-footballer does something silly but actually quite normal that many have done before.

If hes that much of a lightweight, that in its own way is even more tragic.

I just don't think its so easy to get away with nowadays. An occassional drink maybe, but not a session like that, if that percieved session is a bit of a bender as indeed it looks.

Madrid have supposedly bid Euro 13m for De Gea. For that we'd be better keeping him for the last year of his contract and hoping he splits up with his girlfriend in the meantime.

That's some audacious trolling if true.

Even if he goes for £25m he won't have been sold for a huge profit, which is what he should be going for, so may as well just keep him for the extra year and let him go on a free next year.

He's decent on FM. Anyone seen him play?

Also - isn't he a defender? :?

Echo says Coates is off to Sunderland for £4 million too. Shame that, will always remember that goal though :datass:

I'll be pleased if that happens. He was very impressive towards the end of last season.

Is this just for the EPL, or all leagues?

Great signing for Chelsea if true - especially if they get him for the same kind of 'loan fee' United paid last year as that's peanuts in Romanland.

He's had a year to adjust to the Prem so will be far more likely to be dangerous, and with Drogba leaving he'll be a great addition to their squad.

Sickening.

Yeah he will do well for them surrounded by top quality players.

He was trying way too hard to do everything for us due to the poor supply throughout the team. Sadly it just didn't work out. Sure he made some absolute clangers but I would not be surprised if he has a fantastic season for Chelsea.

It's just a shame things didn't work out for him at Old Trafford.

#Awaits last minute winner from him against Man Utd next season :(
