Bojan is a load of balls but if Shaqiri's hips don't lie he should be decent.

Stoke are improving an already good squad. 9th place finish last season was impressive.

Bojan doesn't do too well on the wings, had his best spell when he was playing through the center.

Shaqiri and Arnie on the wings though :)

Swansea have signed Eder from Braga for around £5m

Nice to see us getting a lot of activity in early. Some good competition for Gomis.

Don't see any mention here of Micah Richards signing for Villa.

Good bit of business I feel.

Oh, Holtby just signed permanently for Hamburg. Bit gutted about that as i was hoping he would be given a chance, i guess Poch decided to stick with Bentaleb and Mason.

I think it was mentioned a few pages back. I agree with you, I think it's a good move for Villa and for Richards.

Rayo Vallecano: Kit design against homophobia & other battles

Image

BBC Sport wrote:Rayo Vallecano have released an away kit which carries a symbolic gesture to the fight against homophobia and pays tribute to "unsung heroes in society".
The Madrid-based La Liga club's navy blue strip will feature a rainbow sash containing six colours.
Red is for those fighting cancer, orange represents the disabled, yellow signifies the battle against depression, green - the environment, blue marks a stance against child abuse and purple represents a movement against domestic violence.
The club state the collective rainbow, like the internationally adopted logo for gay pride, will mark a stance against homophobia and around £5 from every shirt sale will be given to charities representing each cause incorporated into the rainbow.

Outstanding gesture.

It's a great gesture but their shirt now looks like a ZX Spectrum.

It's alright, if they keep breaking their transfer record like this then they can have all the money they want.

Liverpool fans bashing on about Benteke. :fp:

The fact he rapes your team every season means he isn't good enough for you? Or scoring 23 goals in a team that just scraped survival, scoring 12 goals in as many games at the back end of the season when sherwood came in, or is one of the best forwards in the league who is unplayable on his day?

How are Lambert, balotelli and borini working out?

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

Don't be stupid glowy ,they didn't say he was bad but that for the price and the kind of player he is he might not fit the Liverpool system.I have to agree as well as he might not but you never know and players can adapt and improve.

Glowy you plum, We are not saying he's a bad player. We are saying, that for £32 million we want someone who will fit out system. Benteke to me isn't that. He's a cracking player, but for a team that don't really cross the ball it's wasted money. If we could get him for £20 million ( Not likely ) Then I'd happily have him.

Again and I said this from the off. If we have £25/30 million to spend on a striker, I want players like Lacazette, Volland, Aubameyang. Benteke isn't what we need.

Search Twitter for liverpool and Benteke. See what they say. No necessarily you lot on here.

Doesn't need crosses to score mate.

Fabian Delph is a banana split.
