Vardy should stay instead of moving to a permanently 4th placed team. More fun taking Leicester to final of CL.

Permanently fourth except when they finish 3rd and 2nd?

I don't see how Vardy would fit in the Arsenal system, they play possession football not counter attack.

I guess he could become mates with Wilshire.

i think going after Vardy less than a week before the Euros begin is really out of order, but Wenger's French, so maybe its a plot

I'm sure international managers would rather it was sorted before the tournament rather than during, and the club would rather do it now before his value potentially skyrockets. Only Leicester are hard done by in this situation.

Of course, if I were Vardy I don't see why I'd want to move on at this point. This time next year sure maybe, but he wouldn't dislodge Giroud.

I'd always thought that of all Leicesters most influential players, Vardy was the most likely not to move, didn't know there was a £20m clause.
I'm surprised but also I think this could be a good move for us. He provides a clear alternative to Giroud, and for those who think he wouldn't fit us, and I think he'd fit our team well, we've looked better with a more mobile striker this season, and if Welbeck is gonna be injured for basically the whole season then we need someone to fulfil that role. He'd give us a directness that Arsenal teams haven't had in a long time

I'm sure Wilshere will give Vardy his coke dealer's number.

The thing with Welbeck, though, is that if he's playing second-fiddle to Giroud at CF - fine. There's still a place for him in the team out wide if you're playing teams where you'll need more defensive cover on that side or someone who'll put more of a shift in. Whereas from what I've seen of Vardy when Hodgson has unceremoniously shunted him out wide, that doesn't suit his game at all.

I don't think he'll be pushed out to the wing though, Welbeck only played up front this season. Hodgson has only used him there to shoehorn him in with Kane in a 433 (which I think has only been experimental).

True. If there is one thing Leicester is famous for it is its lack of Asian people.

To be fair to Maf, first thing that I thought of was "Vardy and Wilshere would hit it off".

How have Arsenal gone from chasing Suarez, Benzema, Higuain and Cavani to Jamie Vardy. The world's gone mad.

I guess he's a decent replacement for Welbeck while he's out injured or Walcott if he finally leaves.

Because Vardy has not only won the Premier League but has also scored against Stoke. Can any of those other players claim both of those achievements?
