If Aubameyang ends up at City then we may as well all pack up and go home.

In fairness we were all thinking something similar after about five games of last season when it looked like City would walk the league.

Serious upheaval at Dortmund this summer if it does happen. Hummels, Gundogan already gone and potentially Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan also leaving.

I bet Marco Reus is fairly miffed.

Can't wait for the other half of Merseyside to start raiding Southampton.

Wait, the Aubameyang story seems to have started with that Di Marzio chancer. :fp: Probably bollocks so.

Looks like Ed Woodward has been briefing the press about interest in Pogba.

Sell Pogba for peanuts, buy him for 10-15 times more!

Mata and Darmian + cash is the offer, apparently.

Colour me intrigued...

(this is absolute bullshit)

How often to cash +player deals actually happen? The media see to make them up all the time  Last big ones I can think of were Matic + cash for David Luiz and Ibrahimovic + cash for Eto'o but other than that I don't remember any big ones.

He'll be £80million at least given how much of a banana split his agent is.

I don't doubt for a second that United could (and would) stump up that sort of cash for him, but I just can't see a potential Ballon d'Or nominee leaving all the trophies of Juve behind him and foregoing all the trophies on offer at Madrid or Barca, just to come and be part of a team playing Europa League football for at least the next season. I know Mourinho is a big pull but I'd be amazed if he managed to convince Pogba to sign up to his project.

Imagine if he did though :datass: :datass: :datass: :datass:

I'm sure if the cash is thrown about then he'll probably join.

Wasn't Pogba an entitled little prick when he was at OT the first time around? Why would you part with a ridiculous sum of money to get him back when for that amount there are lots of other superb players you could buy?

If thinking, as a central midfielder, that you should be starting in central midfield (or even coming on as a sub) ahead of Rafael makes you entitled, then perhaps. Given his meteoric rise since then I don't think it's all that unreasonable.

Same agent as Zlat, no? Manchester United should give him a incentive to make it happen. Like... he gets X bonus for Zlat, but triple for Zlat and Pogba.

We just sold Adam Webster to Ipswich in return for Matt Clarke and around £700k. These big money + players deals do happen ;)

Think it'll probably be Blind or Rojo that will be more likely to get punted. Apparently Rojo would have been sold in January if he hadn't dislocated his shoulder again.
SURPRISE NAME CHANGE wrote:Wasn't Pogba an entitled little prick when he was at OT the first time around?

He was 19 and apparently him and his agent were wanting a ridiculous contract for someone who had barely made any appearances for the first team. The thing is, if he stayed I'm not sure he would have developed into the player he is now and he probably would have wanted a transfer away anyway if he was playing under idiots like Moyes and LVG.

SURPRISE NAME CHANGE wrote:Why would you part with a ridiculous sum of money to get him back when for that amount there are lots of other superb players you could buy?

He's obviously one of the best CMs in the world right now and he's only 23. Can't think of any other midfielders of similar age and skill around right now that are possibly gettable. He's exactly the kind of midfielder the club needs right now, Mourinho is a big fan too and wanted him at Chelsea last season. Not arsed about the fee.

I've seen that mentioned. Wonder if he's been taking tips from Mendes.

New contract for Griezman apparently, so that scuppers that rumour cow. Guess we'll have to settle with Pogba and Bale ;)

So apparently Ibrahimovic won't be signing till after June 30th because that's when his contract with PSG ends and he'll get a loyalty bonus (along with his agent ) for seeing it out without signing a pre-contract with anyone else.
