Zlatan to leave United

Would that make united the only club he's played for and not won the league?

Didn't win it at Malmo.

United confirmed they've released Zlatan Ibrahimovic. :(

I wanted him out but feel for the guy as he's been released whilst injured. But I'm glad he's gone.

Woah what, surely he was one of the overall signings of the season for the Premier League?

He is staying with us to complete his rehab. Wouldn't be surprised if he gets a 6 month contract in January.

I edited out a bit about how all the money he earned, and would no doubt continue to earn at his next club, would lessen the blow.

There were too many games where he didn't bring his experience (i.e. goals) to bear, games which Manchester United ended up drawing. I'm not saying he didn't play his part in the successes of the season, but I'd rather have someone more consistent get his spot.

Not sure about all the noise surrounding Morata to United - he's decent but is decent? Not convinced.

I'm not convinced too and £60m seems erm... too much.

Impressive that he scored more than Benzema last season and he played far fewer games.

Jose is the one who gave him his Madrid debut and Pogba played with him at Juve so hopefully he can hit the ground running.

Why are you glad he is gone? He was our top scorer and we created tons of chances when he was in the team.

Once he got injured, we barely created any chances. Him and Pogba had good chemistry together. Rashford scored like 2 league goals in 6 months at one stage. He's a decent player. But he's not the world class player everyone makes him out to be. When you look at the likes of Dembele and Mbappe who are miles ahead of Rashford technically. Rashford has a lot of pace, but he's a recent trend of English players where lots of pace but no brain.

I hope these rumours of Mourinho wanting both Belotti and Morata are true. Now not only do we need someone replacing Ibrahimovics goals but we need to add on top of that.

Zlatan not coming back is awesome. That should tell Manu supporters enough. Oh, please give Rooney a new contract also, dude wouldn't make any other top 6 team.
