Ajax are complete pish. Disappointing.

Pish is a bit harsh.

The three players I was worried about playing poorly for us tonight have probably been our best players. Smalling, Darmian and Felliani.

And let's hope that's the last Jessie Lingard plays for Man Utd.

Glad Rooney is getting a few minutes.

I doubt it he's not long signed a new contract.

We've just been too good for Ajax tonight we've shut them down and they haven't got a plan B.

Bit of class from Valencia there as well.

Really not. They were abysmal tonight. Maybe cos they were young or whatever.

It is now a successful season. Second only to Chelsea. Not good enough I agree but certainly a step in the right direction.

Really easy victory that surprisingly. They didn't really know how to break us down.

Ibrahimovic hobbling like a robot was a highlight.

I do think Ajax were phased by the occassion which to be honest is to be expected with them being so young.

That said I think we shut them down all night and they didn't get a sniff.

Huge sigh of relief. Enormous pressure on us tonight but we put in a very controlled and professional performance.
