Hope Jose doesn't try those tactics against a better team at home in the Europa. The subs just encouraged Rostov.

Loved that this idiot asked Mata and Smalling about the banana and they were like "eh?".

Great post match interview by Jose. The interviewer trying to stir the pot by getting Jose to say he's glad City lost and he completely flipped it round and made the point that all of the teams above United are no longer in European competition so will play fewer games. Also wasn't interested in laughing at the banana incident, instead highlighting how fatigued Rojo was.

Yeah, I use to quite like him but now, while you have to respect his achievements, I cant stand him.

Southgate drops Rooney from England squad. His captaining days look over.

This. Tennis players do it all the time. And Sandy's pointed out Rio ate some Jaffa cakes and also ate a banana during some cup game a few years ago. So why all the hoo-ha? Probably to cover up how gooseberry fool the game was.

Isn't Rooney injured? Though I agree his days are numbered.

Check out my YouTube channel!
One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

He declared himself fit. Maybe Southgate was just waiting for an out and this recent injury did the job. Time to move on, now. He's been gooseberry fool for years. Years!

So think draw for Champs League is at 11 today, and then Europa at 12. United should have a chance from here on.

Ajax (NED)
Anderlecht (BEL)
Beşiktaş (TUR)
Celta Vigo (ESP)
Genk (BEL)
Lyon (FRA)
Manchester United (ENG)
Schalke (GER)

Ajax. Lyon, Schalke and Besiktas wouldn't be amazing draws there.

I can't believe that Genk beat Gent. I've always been a fan of Gent, I mean Genk, so it was great to see them beat Genk, I mean Gent.

I can't stick Keane, but what he says is spot on.
