I fully expected them to make it tougher than it need be for no other reason than the fact teams often put in poor performances after a big win.

What a player he was for villa. Awful awful news.

Oh God, that's terrible news. Ugo was one of my favourite players for the Villa, an underrated but very talented defender and by all accounts a very good person indeed.

So sad.

I am absolutely shocked about Ugo. Such an under rated player, I signed him in several versions on Championship manager. Always a highly rated on that.

He was very highly regarded at Tottenham and I believe he was on his way to managing spurs in the future. There must be a minute silence on Saturday.

He scored an absolute belter of a goal against Celtic at Parkhead a few years back, right towards the end of his career. Rotten news to wake up to this morning.
