So Yaya Toure grabs Oliver and he does nothing. Hart puts his head towards Oliver and again he does nothing. Yet when Di Maria grabbed him he was so fast to get the red card out.
One of the worst refs in the league. Makes up rules as he goes along. Hopefully Saudis or Chinese sign him up.

I'm convinced he's staying but just waiting for a run a decent wins so that he can anounce that he is staying and hope that the easily pleased and reactionary modern football fan will rejoice. We all do it, we are doomed when we lose one match, unstoppable when we win.
I've said for a while I dislike Oliver I've watched a number of games this season where he basically either bottles a very clear easy to make decision or gives out needless cards. I fear we will see him more and more in the bigger games too with Clattenburg leaving.
I hope in many ways video technology isn't too far off it'll take alot of the discussion around a referee's performance out of equation. In saying that I'd also like to see action taken after games against players who have clearly tried to con the ref into getting an opponent booked, winning penalties etc. It's getting to the point where we see players getting a slight touch and their jumping around like they've been assaulted. It doesn't help when you have commentators calling players clever for doing stuff like hitting the deck when the contact wasn't great enough for that to have actually happened.
Breaking News (of little consequence): MLS side Chicago Fire say they have signed Bastian Schweinsteiger from Manchester United, according to the Chicago Tribune newspaper.
