Manchester City are a far superior team to Roma, I have no doubt we will score at least 1, more likly 2 or 3. Unless roma have some mystery defenders to play in the second leg then they are going to concede.

The entire build up to this game was about Salah, his old team, can he deliver etc etc and he ran the game. 2 stunning goals and 2 assists. If Salah plays, we win.

So you think the tie is over then? That's it, you're in the final?

Yes. Don't you think?

What's this bullshit?

And whats the bullshit part? None of them are world class players unless you are implying that they are.

Robertson is the best Left back in the prem man.

He’s had 3 months of good form that doesn’t make him world class. I probably have a different definition of world class to you. For someone to be world class they need to have done it consistently over a few seasons.

He’s currently on form the best left back.

Hyperion wrote:I just remember him being run ragged by Torres

Yeah let’s forget the part where he played a key part in a team winning 5 premier leagues. Drogba ran Carragher ragged. That doesn’t mean Carragher was average.

So, are you saying that Salah isn't world class? I'd say hes the best in the world this season.

Arsenal proving Liverpool aren't the only team capable of conceding late in a European fixture.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

That's massively harsh Atletico defended well and have the best defensive in Europe (top leagues) also the keeper made some great saves but as always Arsenal had a massive head fart.

In a weird way this could be a blessing in disguise as it means we need to go there and have a go rather than a half arsed attempt at holding onto a lead.

Scoring away at Atletico's ground shouldn't be too difficult.

Oblak was really the difference tonight. If Aubameyang was available I think they would have made the extra man count, I like Welbeck but he's not a difference maker at this level to say the least.

Can't see Arsenal getting a result in Madrid.

Very harsh.

Arsenal played very well, Atletico just do what they always do and defended really well, plus Oblak is class.

The Atletico goal though was peak Arsenal.

This isn’t referring your comment as I know you are talking about the Liverpool stoke game but why do people keep going on about Salah winning the Ballon d’Or when it is only April? What if he gets injured and misses the entire of the rest of the year. Isn’t the award supposed to be an annual award on a calendar year basis rather than a typical European football season? I think if he keeps it up into aug, sept and oct then he will win, especially if Liverpool win the champions league because the more exposure he gets on the European circuit the better as the journalists who vote are mainly from the main European continent.
