Christ we put van Dijk up front.
They deserved to lose about 15-0 for the dross they served up tonight. Swansea barely had to break a sweat in order to get the win which is the big worry.
The fun part about football is that the team that "deserves" to win doesn't always. I think despite a sub-par performance Liverpool should've got something from the game, but if you don't take your chances, results like this happen. Swansea did what they needed to do.
Despite what seems to be a bogey team status, I do hope they stay up. They've always seemed to be a team that tries to play football in an attractive way and I think the league would be worse without them.
Bottom half is utterly terrifying how packed up everyone is...
Teams around the bottom are acting quicker besides Southampton. 10 years ago most likely Silva would have been given a chance to turn things around as he did give them a good start.
Good for Swansea. They not starting to look like pushovers now which they were under Clement.
I think the games moved on since Barça made the possession stat sexy. If you are completely ineffective in possession it's not very important. I think the fact Liverpool put 4 out of 21 shots on target today shows you they were pretty pish today and Swansea smashed and grabbed with only 2 less shots (2 of only 3 they had) on target.
