Deserved win. He’s been sensational all season and he delivers at key times in big games and in the league games when it’s been on a knife edge. I hate the one man team gooseberry fool but how many points has he won for them this season. He could still achieve the big one as well yet.

God I hope they sell him in the summer!

Firmino, Mane and Oxlade-Chamberlain really help free up Mo to be in goal scoring situations, I’m not so sure he’d be as proficient in another team.

DeBruyne has been outstanding, if he won it I’d have no complaints.

That’s my point about the one man team stuff. Great players make teams better.
Look at us with De Gea. How many times has he saved us? World class players make a difference. Same with De Bruyne or any other.
I think Salah is the right result but I don’t think there’d be outcry if De Bruyne had got it. Of course you can afford to be magnanimous.

West Brom defender Ahmed Hegazi will not be charged after appearing to punch Liverpool's Danny Ings in Saturday's 2-2 Premier League draw at The Hawthorns.

Striker Ings complained the 27-year-old Egyptian jabbed him in the stomach after the pair tangled as they both attempted to head the ball.

Referee Stuart Atwell did not see the incident, so it was referred to an independent panel of three referees.

But they were not unanimous in the view it was a red-card offence.
