RB Leipzig and Red Bull Salzburg can both play in the Champions League next season, Uefa has confirmed.

This is fairly significant, now all the global megaclubs have no reason to not purchase multiple European teams, it's already going on at a lower level with stuff like Watford's owners but we could now see effective feeder teams drawing their parent clubs in knockout competition.

No doubt Man City will be all over that given how many teams they already own elsewhere.

Mourinho's being accused of tax fraud from his time in Spain

Is anyone who was on that Real Team not involved in tax dodging? [emoji38]

[emoji38] Looking forward to whatever today will bring re Spanish tax dodgers.

Fifa clears Manchester United over Paul Pogba move but acts against Juventus

• Fifa said in May it was looking into world-record deal for midfielder
• Reports had claimed agent Mino Raiola earned £41.3m from transfer

Hmmm. Wording could be taken either way. It's a bit like Trump saying he wasn't under criminal investigation; it didn't mean he was clear, just that he wasn't being looked at the time.

Turns out it's Di Maria's turn.

Yeah, just saw that a little while ago.

Angel di Maria settles Spanish tax case and pays 2m euros fine

He ruled himself out of it a little while back, thankfully. Although at this point I wouldn't object to him.

So Juventus are releasing Dani Alves, expect to see him in the Premier League next season.

Chelsea or City? Toss a coin I reckon.

He might not end up at a club that good - his powers are waning a little now. Maybe an Everton or Man United?

http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-reject-11m-alberto-moreno-13223134

Liverpool have slapped a £15million price tag on Alberto Moreno after rejecting a bid of £11million from Napoli.

I'm struggling to come to terms with that sentence. Napoli bidding £11million seems mad, Liverpool turning it down seems mad and Liverpool wanting £15million seems pure doolally altogether.

two Premier League clubs have inquired about the 24-year-old full-back.

Bloody hell.

Arsenal value Kieran Gibbs at the same price and the Reds believe Moreno is on a par with the England international.

Ooof.

Whoever rejected that bid for Moreno needs to be sacked.
