Six games since he took over from United. Three draws where we’ve parked the bus and taken a point. An away point against top six opposition. 3 defeats Loss to Chelsea where we tried the same tactic but it was undone with two early goals. We then folded.
Two defeats to arsenal and Spurs at the point where Mourinho has unashamedly admitted his priority was the Europa league and he rested players and played youngsters.
He’s in his second season at United having taken over a team that was blunted, plodding and unadventurous. He’s had a year to make them his team. He’s clearly succeeded in the defensive hard to beat sense but he’s also added goal threat and attacking potential as well. Not evident on Saturday but evident by our points tally and league position and goal difference. That’s why United are happy. The reason why you and all the others aren’t is because he doesn’t do it the pretty way?
I think you're clutching at scores with regard to that past 10 games stat. It's poor. Plus it's a little disingenuous to protect Jose from this criticism because, deep down, we all know it's true. But it works - long term, over a league campaign.
Your points tally, league position and goal difference could be skewed by only playing one team in the top half so far (Liverpool). I think they'll be found wanting in the games against higher quality opposition. Jose's team shouldn't be scared of anyone, considering the depth of quality they have (after spending an absolute fortune).
There was an article in the telegraph which talked about his team’s performance in big games. It’s very good. If the next six games deliver the same number of points - I’ll accept the point. I chose the six united games because the Chelsea ones are irrelevant. His record speaks for itself. As for him being scared of teams. Behave yourself.
The ones clutching at straws are the ones expecting him or any reasonable United fans to give a strawberry float what others think of it. He’s never changed and never cared about the criticism he’s received. What he is is a winner. It’s a results game. Not a beauty contest.[
He definitely gets results - which is proven by his peerless record of winning big matches, such as semi finals and finals. Now, performances is where the majority would disagree with you. And I think his more recent record is less adventurous than his first Chelsea spell, Porto and perhaps Inter.
But, if you're happy watching that shite every week, then that's fine!
People (journalists, pundits, forumites, etc) say Manchester United have only beaten teams they're expected to beat, etc. But how did they do against some of those teams last season? How many points have they dropped at home this season? How many goalless draws have their they been involved in? Could he be doing better? Yes. Is this season so far an improvement over the last and the few seasons before it? Yes. So yeah, we're happy. Sorry.

I'm really at a point where I don't care as much for Everton as I used to. Not just because the team is doing badly but because I've been out the country out of the year and have come back to a team and manager that I have no affection for. It's all new players (or players who joined just before I went away), they're playing terribly and I don't care for them as a result. The players who were in the team before my journey have either left, are injured, or have finally passed their peak and are not who they were. It's all quite depressing so I'd rather put my thoughts elsewhere.
Everton are like a game of football manager you would have aborted weeks ago. Their squad is perhaps the most inbalanced in the league with their number 10-heavy stance with no wingers. They could be a reasonable bet for relegation.
My 2 Everton supporting mates are having quite the discussion on whatsapp, One wants Koeman out and the other wants him to have January to fix. I personally think he should get more time.

I guess the issue is would you trust him again with your transfer spend?
He seemed to be the main driver behind their summer spree and they don't seem to have spent the money wisely. They certainly haven't built a team with it.

He should be doing better after spending £150m. I know they lost Lukaku. But he was making noises about leaving for quite a while, so should have expected that. So why they didn't just sign a striker is bizarre. Hernandez was going for £12m. He would have been perfect for them.
He has spent £235m since he has arrived there and somehow they gone from one of the fastest forward teams with Deulofeu, Lukaku, Barkley and Lennon to the slowest team in the prem. He didn't give Deulofeu a chance. He has fallen out with Barkley, who is probably better than all the number 10s he signed in the summer on his day. There's no point signing so many number 10s if you haven't got a striker that they can feed.
He seems to be making the same mistakes as Van Gaal and turning them into a pedestrian side. Which is strange as at Southampton they were the opposite.
I am just thankful that him or whoever at Everton decided to sign Rooney.
