Indeed!

Now they said he’s been landed just a few minutes ago. Madness!

I remember this happening on one of the Everton forums a few years ago during the Lukaku transfer, highly entertaining  Some people say true supporters are those who go to games, but the fans tracking down flights of transfer targets are the unsung heroes.

One of them actually travelled to Carrington to see him. They brought him in the other entrance

It’s just crazy!

Sanchez has arrived at Carrington now.

Not sure if this should be in the football thread or not.

I can't say I'm thrilled about signing Sanchez. Just seems surplus to requirements at this point. I'd hate to see Lingard or Martial get even less time now.

United have averaged more than two goals per match this season. They don't have a problem scoring goals. The main issue I've seen is that their defense is so unreliable the forwards can't get the ball for a second against the big clubs. Lukaku spends most of the time just waiting up front for a ball that never comes, and he hasn't the pace to pick it up from midfield and run. The whole team is forced to worry about defending, because the guys at the back aren't cut out for it

To be fair you are talking bollocks.

I’ve never come across somebody who is so hell bent on trolling other football fans whilst constantly moaning about there being a bias against their own team. And I can’t believe I’m not talking about Photek

Also, nice to see Southampton’s lead last for all of 2 minute. Although I can see them binning Pellegrino and bringing in Marco Silva who would probably (annoyingly) sort them out.

Weird how other teams turn up like that when it's spurs involved.

Uff, it was a playful joke on what Mafro said on the last page.

...

Anyway cant complain. Southampton played well and were good for the draw. it was an entertaining match and even I wanted the young lad to score for Southampton when he got the chance (I quickly got a grip afterwards).

I found myself far more frustrated with the draw against West Ham.

It’s very annoying though. As you say fair play to the saints, they were pretty good in the first half. Came out in a much higher gear than us.

But it’s a big two points lost when you consider our run of games after the Newport match on the 27th.

31st jan Man united
4th Feb Liverpool
10th Feb Arsenal
13th Feb Juventus

I fear it will be season over after that. Especially if we go too weak against Newport and get dumped out of the fa Cup.

Having seen Newport play a few times now, if you somehow lose to them, you deserve your season to be derailed.

Strange things always happen in the cups though, especially when the better opposition start mixing up their starting 11.

It’s definitely a tough run of games and we should have come out all guns blazing for todays game to at least take a bit of pressure off ourselves.

I think most Spurs fan realised this was going to be a tough season with playing at Wembly.

For me it's all about damage limitation this season. I think Spurs have been better than expected and Best result would be a top 4 and beating Juventus but I think we will finish top 7 or 8.

I just worry a lot of the big players will want to go next summer if we don't get CL qualification. Which will be a big shame bearing in mind the new season/new stadium/ settled players etc.

I get why the stadium has to be done, but it's horrible timing. Keep Poch and that's the key I feel.

I do agree with this. I’m not expecting a top four finish this season. We have stood still whilst the others have pushed on but I expected it. I just hope that the stadium redevelopment hasn’t come at the wrong time and that we don’t struggle to keep some of our players. It’s almost like poch and the players all joined a season or two too early.

I am expecting us to lose someone important this summer though, I just feel it.
