No-one in our midfield three is up for taking a man on, we miss both Coutinho and Lallana in situations like tonight

Never been a fan of Wij, Can and Henderson as a midfield 3. Hoffenheim CBs look like they can defend :shifty:

So migs and goal keeping coach obviously knew the lad would put it down the middle. Good stuff.

Yeah not sure why Hendo and newbie seemed so down, they just had a pretty successful win, and luck was on their side tonight too.

Sad to see him go, although odd the final fee was £45m as I'm pretty sure that was what they bid two weeks ago...

Heard we are looking at getting Chadli, Bony and Allen. Which I'd be delighted with. But don't think we'll get Allen sadly. But then I'd say another RB is more important.

Now watch as West Brom and Man City push up their asking prices for Chadli/Bony

While I'd not be against signing those players, it's ridiculous that we were interested in all 3 last summer, and now we'd need to pay roughly twice the price for Allen and Chadli. You've got players like Boudebouz going for 7m Euros, Markovic apparently going for £8m, which on paper look perfect for us.

People get hung up on the headline fees touted in the media but there's a lot more to a deal tha. Gets reported. Bonus clauses, payment structures, there's a lot to agree on and in reality the media know very little.

I don't think we'll sign Bony unless Llorente goes to be honest. Nor do I think we need Joe Allen. He'd improve our midfield no doubt but we have other issues and he'd cost a lot. Should have just stumped up the £13m last year.

Chadli, a winger and a right back would be my priorities with the money.

Good win last night, two away goals, great stuff from TAA (apart from for their goal), Migs did well, Lovren looks like he's permanently on panic mode. Should be making more of the chances we create though, especially when we're fragile at the back.

Quietly confident Celtic will make it to the Champions League group stages this year.

What the strawberry float. The second leg of Real Madrid vs Barcelona kick off at any minute now. It's so late!

Probably starting it later because of the heat.

Madrid are insane, can't believe how they've overtaken Barca in recent years.

Already 2 bangers in the first half from Asesnio and Benzema.
