So far I suspect this is pretty much what Mourinho wanted. I think we have to massively improve in the second half though.

Dull first half as expected. Lukaku is clearly getting frustrated being pretty isolated and needs to be careful. Reminds me of when Rooney would be sat on his own up top with no assistance and doing dumb fouls.

We need more composure in our passing and our delivery st the corners and two dangerous free kicks has not tested Pool enough. Liverpool looked decent in their little purple patch - Firminho, Salah and linking well.
Should really be 1-1 but for a great save and poor follow up and a better finish from Lukaku.
