I think Britos was ahead of him though, so I don't think it can count as being passed backwards?

For a second I thought that was an official shot of the SFC top.

EDIT - Morata ruling out that goal is super delicious.

Aye, laughed pretty hard when I read that on BBC text commentary.

It really is a bit flat.

Why is Rose not playing? Is he injured or being punished?

One positive for Spurs is that Kyle Walker Peters looks pretty good.

He is injured and has been for about 6 months. I have a feeling Newcastle will win this.

Yes so do I.

Blimey Rose has been off for ages. I figured he had got fit over the summer.

You can always count on Jonjo Shelvey to do something monumentally stupid

I thought you couldn't be offside if you passed the ball backwards?

What a moron Shelvey is.

He's back in training but i don't believe he made any of the friendlies so he clearly isn't ready yet. Not heard how far off he is.

It doesn't matter though, i'm sure we have Danny Rose-Peters waiting in the U21 squad.

Also lovely worked goal for spurs there.

Annoying that Shelvey hit the self-destruct button for Newcastle there, I bet a bit of doubt was creeping into the Spuds players' minds before Alli scored.

Edit: and there it is...

I don't think it was creeping in, it's always there.

Burnley's scouts went to Strasbourg today to scout Lille's striker, he missed an open goal and ended up playing in goal

Fake edit: He's now been taken out of goal after conceding

We're at home against a side we should beat...so 0-0 it is.

Nice to see Rashford starting ahead of Lingard. Also prefer Blind to Darmian at left back.

I'm not sure I can name a footballer thicker than Jonjo Shelvey

Would be shocked if it's anything other than a draw given our home form.
