Manu didn’t pass well but to think Liverpool’s pressing wasn’t a contributing factor is blinkered.

I heard on Radio that Sakho made some awful mistakes against Chelsea late on.

C’mon Watford.

A factor? Yes but the number of times we gave the ball away under no pressure was appalling. Also our deadball delivery was shat. As was yours to be fair.
Not one for the purists but that last 10-15 minutes was tense.

Overall I’m not unhappy with the point but our obdurate defence deserved a better attack to reward it.

Frustrating for both sets of fans I suppose but Jose is definitely the happier manager.

It's hilarious how VAR has actually made German reffing more biased

Every time I flick on to the Dortmund game they've conceded another goal it seems. Who got sent off, and what for?

Dortmund red was Sokratis for an incredibly blatant goal denying trip, Ilsanker got one yellow and then immediately went and got another for the Leipzig red

Glad I was travelling home :fp:

The sooner we abandon trying to play this formation the better.

I think it brings out good things in Bellerin and Kolasinac, but we don't really have the squad to play 3 centre backs, especially with Mustafi out for so long now. Elneny and Xhaka are an uninspiring in midfield as well, but they'd still be crap in a 4-4-2. Basically we're short on quality in every system we'd play.

We had the chances to put that to bed, but Gomes was very good today. Then a shambolic penalty decision and a cheap pinball winner - it's a good job I don't let bad results ruin my weekend anymore, because that was a classic!

It's stifling any creativity and isn't working with Lacazette on his own. I think with the players we have a 4-4-2 diamond would work better.

I just wish we had gotten rid of Sanchez if he doesn't want to be there as it's definitely affecting things.

Backed Watford to win. Greatly enjoyed that last twenty or so minutes.

City will probably open up quite a lead over the next few weeks. I don’t see a proper title race coming to be honest. They look too good.

I was at the match today, what an atmosphere. Despite chants of "Fergie's right, your fans are shite", the Man United away fans were loud and boisterous throughout.

I obviously wish Liverpool had won, but I enjoyed myself.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:
