Well that went well :simper:

Also 0-0 in the England vs Brazil game, strawberry float me what dreary sewage Southgate is serving up to the paying public.

It’s a bit of a shame to not see another home nation in the WC. I always like to see at least one other than England. I’ve always considered myself British over English in terms of nationality but when it comes to sport I naturally support England but will always will on the others including Rep of Ireland if they are not playing England.

It helps since it allows a sneaky support of another team when England inevitably fail...

I'll support England till they go out then claim I never liked them anyway and support Sweden or Germany instead.

I can’t bring myself to support England these days so I am stuck now that Ireland have failed to qualify.

I will probably just support the underdog in every match. Although that will mean supporting England so maybe I just wont bother watching.

The only thing I was 100% serious on there was not supporting England.

I will be watching and cheering on the teams that actually want to play. :toot:

I'll still support England, but I go in with no expectation of being entertained. Can't bring myself to support any other countries, but there's usually some kind of underdog to root for. Pleased to see Denmark go through last night.

I don't think Martin O'Neil's contract should be extended. We play horrible stuff and although some people will point out we haven't got the talent, the players are playing out of position or are told to be something they’re not used to. Arter for instance plays terrible for Ireland because he's told to lump it clear, the same can be said for the rest. We aren't the greatest team at playing football but we don't seem to have the guile or intent on playing actual football and that comes from the manager.
