Imagine if a player outside a top 6 team had done that (let's say Zaha, since he was the basis of a witch hunt after the Man City game), and had been booked and no penalty given...

Would the pundits have gone beserk (there's actually no other word for it, Shearer had actually lost his mind over it) in the same way? Or said "nope it's a dive every day, well done ref"...

JAT.

The Dortmund striker has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal and Wenger, asked about the Gabon international’s character, said: “Yes, a character can be very positive or very negative. Overall you look at achievement over career and if he has done well the character has been used in a positive way.”

Zorc was unimpressed by the Frenchman’s comments and immediately responded. “We think it is a lack of respect when you get involved with players who are playing for another team,” he said on Thursday.

Dortmund there, who were outright bragging about tapping up Sancho in the summer
Everyone involved in football at an executive level is scum.

I prefer not to speak of this fantastic player, a great player in a great team, he would be in any manager's mind as he's such a great player, his qualities are there for all to see and we would of course be interested if he was available, he'd look great in our colours for sure and I think we'll be looking at him. But I prefer to respect the club and not speak about him.

Every manager has said something like the above at some point, it's par for the course

“OK Andy. We’re gonna make a lot of money here. All you have to do is not get injured for 48 hours or so. Do you think you can manage that?”
“Way aye man.”

Ban them for life, I say. It’s the only way they’ll learn.

They been linked with Dzeko too. He’d probably be a better option than Morata is currently and would make more sense.

So neither Sanchez or Midgetarian will be featuring for their soon-to-be-new sides this weekend, both transfers missed the lunchtime deadline. Ah well.
