Wonder what the fan actually said to him because I'd imagine that Aguero was already pissed off without a fan having a go at him when he shouldn't have been anywhere near him.

Heard he was spat on.

Aguero has a right to defend himself on the pitch. It would be another story if he went into the stands and started shoving the fan.

I agree, I don't see why Aguero should face any sort of ban/fine for this when as you say he was only defending himself

Few people here could also heed that advice too.

Great to see City go out - horrible club. Well done Wigan. Funny seeing grown men get so worked up about a sending off, Guardiola's an embarrassment.

Aguero shouldn’t get a ban in my opinion but I wouldn’t be surprised if he did. He has a legal rift to be on the pitch and the fan doesn’t, and then antagonises him. Aguero’s response wasn’t that bad but he’s still on camera swinging an arm at a fan. Hopefully the FA give him the benefit of the doubt given the situation though.

Makes me reminisce about Clint Hill taking on half of Hillsborough when we stayed up there at their expense. THAT'S how to take on some pitch invaders

Chelsea looking like they have the tactics spot on here. Should be an interesting second half.

Fully expect them to slither past Barca in this tie.

Great to see the commentators actually discuss whether Suarez was pushed or the defender just had a hand on his back. Too often the pundits say something was a foul simply because a player had their hand on the others back. It’s something that’s always annoyed me as it’s very difficult to actually tell all the time if there’s an actual push. In this case I don’t think there was and the ref got it right.

Thought Chelsea set themselves up well, and if not for one moment of madness from a defender would be going to the Nou Camp in a good position.

Barcelona did not impress me at all. I reckon Liverpool would run them ragged tbh, Chelsea unlucky to be drawing.

Didn't realize Sevilla appointed a New manager in December so they might be tougher for Manu than I would have thought.

His foot was stood on.

Seems to be nothing at all other than an admin error.

I think you have to give Chelsea credit for that. Conte got his tactics spot on and they stifled Barcelona really well. However, you only have to make that one mistake and give them that one chance and they punish you.

It’s a bit of a missed opportunity to be honest, they could easily have scored another but were wasteful on the break. 2-0 to Nou Camp would have been huge but 1-1 puts the advantage firmly with barca.
