Don’t think that was a deserved victory personally. Thought BCFC deserved something there.

Not that bothered about Aguero’s goal. We were strawberry floating immense, took the lead, took the game to them and held them for 90 minutes.

And 1-0 in the second leg and we are through. ;)

If Coutinho is worth £146m, so how much worth is De Bruyne?

It depends if you let your best players contracts run down to the last 6 months ( :x ).

Only after extra time though.

Yep, but that’s still only 1-0 needed. ;)

It's a comfort in these challenging times.

Similar to the fact that your manager has a chip on his shoulder about Pep and Conte.

Personally I love how Pep has destroyed any argument on who is the better manager in Manchester.

What are you going on about?

He didn’t even mention Conte originally. All he said was that he doesn’t behave like a clown on the touchline. Conte assumes that was a dig at him and says Jose has senile dementia.

And not sure why you quoting Denster as your post has nothing to do with what he said.

To be fair, I'm not sure it was so much Conte assuming but the press asking him a question and insinuating Jose was talking about Conte. I've found their whole back and forth hilarious though, I loved that Mourinho made a fairly level headed and sensible comment but then immediately followed it up with "I'll never be done for match fixing"

It’s entertaining in a way but does neither of them any favours.

Of course! Voodoo!

Voodoo message told Romelu Lukaku to leave Everton for Chelsea, says Moshiri

• Lukaku joined Manchester United after turning down Everton contract
• Major shareholder says he ‘wasted two summers trying to keep him’

Everton seems to be the go to place for dumb news this morning:

Mayor of Liverpool asks FA and police to investigate Ross Barkley’s Chelsea move

• Everton supporter Joe Anderson also writes to Richard Scudamore
• Anderson: ‘I am asking police to consider if any fraud has taken place’

...

Barkley had six months remaining on his Everton contract and could have left on a free transfer at the end of this season. He pulled out of the move to Chelsea in August having ruptured a hamstring. Anderson describes the stated reason as “a groin strain”, yet Barkley needed surgery to reconnect the hamstring and has not played this season as a consequence.

...

https://www.theguardian.com/football/20 ... on-chelsea

Maybe they should also look into frivolous use of office and official stationary:

Anderson has now written to the FA chairman, Greg Clarke, and the Premier League executive chairman, Richard Scudamore – in an official capacity and using mayor of Liverpool headed paper – alleging the transfer “could be seen as a deliberate attempt to drive down a player’s value in the transfer market so as to benefit the player, his agent and the buying club”. And he claims to have contacted “the appropriate police authorities” with a request they investigate the deal for fraud.

That Mourinho press conference when he said that at the end was a master class in trolling.

tbh given that Chelsea are involved I wouldn't be surprised if there was something dodgy about that one so they could get him for £20m cheaper than they were originally willing to pay.

I think there was definitely some sort of agreement between Barkley, his agent and Chelsea to wait until now to move but I don't see how it will have broken any transfer regulations let alone the law.

They should have taken some kind of legal action over Tevez for this:

With an $8m a goal bonus on offer, you'd think he'd have put a bit more effort in!

Xhaka tackles like that it's a yellow or a red, no question.
