Given recent results and performances - tonight’s is mystifying. Awful by us. Kudos to Seville. Worthy winners.

Oh well, no idea why he decided to change the team from the one that beat Liverpool. Should've gone with that but maybe with Pogba starting.

Sevilla were the better side in the first game, this doesn't strike me even as a shock TBH. United getting back into the swing of things Chamoions League wise.

I just don't understand the mentality of the players. If you can't get confidence after beating your biggest rivals then you probably shouldn't be a professional footballer.

Mourinoh should shoulder more of the blame than the players imo. United were sitting back from the off, rarely had more than 3 players getting into Sevilla's box, and that's because of his instructions. His teams always play shite football but the argument is he gets results (as with Liverpool the other day), but when it doesn't work it's embarrassing.

Martial and Mata should be starting these matches.

It's just so disappointing, getting close to season over for us already. Looks like we are pretty set for Top 4, so the FA Cup is the only thing left. Was just a horrible performance.

Manu Ceded the 2nd half to Liverpool and held out, this is what happens if you can’t. Mourinho masterclass?

Difference is there was nothing for us to actually hold onto. It's different like on Saturday and we are 2-0 and you decide to go defensive, but we weren't even in front tonight!

True enough, just looked to be an off night.

thing is, even with questionable tactics, Utd looked completely off the pace: no bite to their defending, no whip to their passing or any accuracy at all. mystifying how slow they looked and how easily Sevilla played through them to get into the final 3rd.

I really don’t think any other English side would have set themselves up like this against Sevilla of all sides. They’d all have tried to win the first leg and probably do them.

BT got so confused by United's tactics that at one point in the first half commentary said United could go through with a 0-0

All the other 7 teams in the quarters will be praying to draw them. That says it all.

We played more cowardly than Leicester last season. Even Leicester showed them up last year.

Honestly, we battered them in group stage and messed up our leads but we attacked them, they got beaten 5-0 by Spartan Moscow in group also. I’d love them in the draw, not sure we can get them tho.

They're not a bad side, beat Liverpool in the Europa final a few seasons back. This should be a wake up call for the English clubs, they're not as good as they think they are. Pundits and papers are forever underestimating foreign clubs.

You can get anyone in the last 8 including City.

Valencia and Atletico Madrid have battered them in the last few weeks.

Eibar beat them 5-1.

They not a very good side. It’s not sour grapes, but they will get knocked out easily next round.
