Been a good season overall for Brighton, strange to see them right up there along with Bournemouth.

I'm a fan of Chris Houghton so I'm glad to see them do well.

Looks like Barca are going to screw up their unbeaten season. 5-1 down to levante at the moment.

Glad to see Southampton stay up. No loss in Stoke, Swansea and West Brom going down.

Obvs missing a couple of centre midfielders but that doesn't look too far off to me.

I know I'm a day late, but jesus christ, what the hell were Chelsea playing at yesterday? We were an absolute shambles of a "team" and thoroughly deserved to lose, so fair play to Newcastle for that. Hopefully we don't play anywhere near as bad as that next weekend in the FA Cup final. Gotta have some kind of redeeming factor for this travesty of a season.

Sounds like they found his body burned inside the car - he was involved in a car crash after dropping his kids at school. :(

Fifa looking to host a new 24 club world Cup every two years.

Leaked details

Quadrennial football tournament, will replace the FIFA Confederations cup. The first edition will played in China, from 10 to 28 June 2021. 24 clubs, 12 from Europe..

- Prizes: Guaranteed minimum fixed payment of € 60 mln for each of the 24 clubs. The FIFA CWC winners can expect to receive € 130-150 mln..

- First edition, there will be the 9 most successful clubs in the world: Ajax, Barcelona, Bayern, Inter, Juventus, Liverpool, Man Utd, AC Milan, Real Madrid + PSG (They can't ignore a country like France) + 2 other clubs

- Formula: The 24 teams are drawn into eight groups of three. The group winners advance to the Quarter-finals.. (This means that 16 clubs will only play 2 matches )

- FIFA want to approve the project next month, 13 June.

£60m for just taking part. Will most likely be approved. The minimum games that the clubs will need to play is two.

Isn't that every 4 years if it's quadrennial?

Yeah, I swear I read two years somewhere.

I suppose it is better than having a confederations cup that nobody cares about.
