Russian spy Sergei Skripal and daughter 'exposed to nerve agent', police confirm

A Russian double agent and his daughter who fell critically ill in Wiltshire were exposed to a nerve agent, Scotland Yard has confirmed.

Sergei and Yulia Skripal were found slumped on a bench in Salisbury, something which is now being treated as attempted murder.

A police officer who was first on the scene is also in a serious condition in hospital, Met Police assistant commisioner Mark Rowley said on Wednesday.

Putin's fingerprints are all over this.

Fetch me old brown trousers, bring them to me now, I'll wear them in the rigging as they fire across the bow. Fetch me old brown trousers, I fear we may be hit, for even if they shoot me now, they'll never see me... ;)

Wouldn't he have needed protective gloves if he was handling a nerve agent?

Black leather gloves, to go with his tan trench coat, fedora and dark glasses.

It does narrow down the list of suspects as I'm pretty sure nerve agents aren't sold in shops.

You mean you've not seen the nerve agent shelf at Morrisons? It's a pretty big seller around my way.

Okay, I usually err on the side against hostility but enough is enough. There is compelling evidence that Russia interfered with the democratic processes in various states, including the US presidential election the UK EU referendum in order to bend the scales in a way that damages said countries by favouring the side that most weakens western unity and resolve. On top of that they have engaged in expansionist invasion and now feel free to act with this kind of impunity on NATO soil.

London happens to be the money laundering capital of the world. It's an open secret that UK politicians never mention. Well, how about they take advantage of the fact by seizing some assets and holding them pending investigation? Seems like a plan. You can't commit murder in a sovereign country and then complain about property rights.

Don't worry guys, the Russians have solved this...

"Something is wrong there. Maybe it's the climate, but in recent years there have been too many strange incidents with grave outcomes there.

So I'd recommend you watch out, the next time you think "ah another lovely typical day in the UK" you may actually be breathing in nerve gas/ getting stabbed with a polonium tipped umbrella.

A strongly written letter ought to do the trick.

We joke, but bearing in mind the current political climate, I'd be interested as to what you guys think would actually be the best course of action here?
