Halo 5's main mode (Arena) is 4v4 it also now has a Halo 3 playlist with 4v4.. ;)

Also, recently Ghost Recon had a 4v4 online beta and it was brilliant, 5v5 Rainbow 6 Siege is on small maps but it's kinda different.

I loved playing Rainbow 6 beta with the guys on here. Must admit I've really gone off online FPS games, feels like they were done to death last gen.

After hearing about PUBG so much, but only owning a PS4, I had to give this a go. I am terrible at shooters, but still having quite a bit of fun. In one game, I just came across some guy camping out in a house quite far from the town, shot him as he was building a hut and he dropped an absolute ton of weapons. Spent 5 minutes in another game chasing after some guy when all I had was the pickaxe. As soon as he stopped to take a look around, whacked him in the back and made off with his machine gun.

This is so much fun. Again, I'm on PS4 so without PUBG as a contender, playing this is a no-brainer. The fort building aspect is fun too, if a little niggly controls-wise. I've gotten a little used to barricading up a warehouse, then making a stairway to the roof, knocking through a skylight and using it as a base.

Go play destiny, Rainbow Six, there’s plenty out there. Then you go and complain you don’t like them anymore

Tried out BR last night, janky, laggy but boy was it addictive. First time trying a PUBG like game, yeah, this is where MP is going to be at for the next few years.

When you get to the end and a team has just built a floating platform in the sky to shoot down from

Other than that, this game is good. Best finish so far is second (both solo and team)

All structures need to have a connection to the ground or they disintergrate. I warned my team of this but they didnt listen. Quite funny to see them all fall to their deaths!

Won my first game last night. 3 of us in No Fill, and I was last one up at the end. So stressful but great fun!

Didn't know this, which is interesting.

They were connected to the ground though in this case - just that connection was outside of the remaining area/in the storm :(

I finished 2nd also... So annoying. I was playing last night in a squad and they all f***ed off and died at the start. I ended up in a big house on its own I looted lots and ended up inside the circle so camped, heard footsteps and made a ramp to get to the roof. I waited for 5 minutes while 4 guys searched house from top the bottom and the roof but never seen me. I had a sniper rifle so was going to follow when they left and shoot. I was lining up one perfectly then I was killed by another sniper who was behind me! :fp:

So you needed to shoot it out at itd thinnest point. In the game we won, some guys built a base down a cliff edge at the edge of the map. They were running pretty fast back up as I fired rockets at their connections!

Of course, great tactic to build out of the circle and then into it as its more difficult to destroy. You will have to give away your position to shoot at it too.

Separately, anyone know how wall dynamos work?

Yeah, makes sense. I feel like the balance is in the favour of whoever is building though - you can stock up on way more building materials than you can ammo, so if you're trying to shoot out connections while they are rebuilding them, they're going to win.

The final end-game battle just seems to be a clusterfuck of building cover, I'm not a massive fan. I like base building though and I can't think of a way to better balance it.

Great work! I came 2nd in Solo last night with 3 or 4 kills. I had a purple grenade launcher and managed to get into positions no one expected so they were all sniping another direction, popped off a grenade, watched it roll next to them unawares and they exploded.

My mistake was looting 3rd place's corpse as I got spotted. My grenade didnt explode in time to kill the winner :(

I keep getting 2nd/3rd spots by stealthing my way through, but I'm frustratingly bad in firefights. I don't get how people are so accurate, especially at range. Bullet drop and bullet travel time are probably wreaking havoc with me, but even at medium/close range the bullet spread on every gun seems to be massive (yet the second I pop out of cover I will get shot).

Also I've never got lucky with any grenades (the grenade launcher especially sounds so much better than it is) but I have died numerous times to a grenade just bouncing over to me then immediately exploding. Can you cook grenades? What am I doing wrong :(

Tried this and it's pretty great. I think it could be amazing in a group of 4.

Had a blast last night in duo's only came second though once, and that was against 1 guy, he sniped both of us in the head instantly. :dread:

I had no guns at start of 1 match and ran to a house and got a shotgun but before I did, I noticed 2 people on the way in so hid and knocked one down the other one was just about to kill me when my mate took a chance with his rocket launcher and killed them both. :o

Studawg, Herbi, Ric, Fade and I played quite a few games together today and Chalky wants to join in as well so we could have a few teams of 3 if you join us.

We got a win today :D .

Played 3 games of duos last night. Got a 3rd place and 4th place with 4 kills and 3 kills, which felt good. Died both times to just being outnumbered.

Still never won
