Yeah pump action shotty's are the way to go and hand cannon (desert eagle) is boss.

Graphics comparison and performance analysis with everything you need to know. Can Fortnite's latest upgrade deliver a faultless 60fps in Battle Royale? And what about the Save The World Mode? Also: does the new dynamic resolution tech improve Xbox One X performance?

Battle Royale mode
Base XB1 - 600p-900p, more commonly hitting 792p-864p
XB1X - 1152p-1728p, more commonly 1440p
PS4 - 900p, can drop to around 720p
PS4 Pro - 1080p, can drop to around 864p

There's also better visual effects on the pro/x versions. Frames drop on all consoles when parachuting down but in match on the ground, mostly stable 60fps with minor drops and tearing from time to time

They also mentioned the improvements introduced in this patch are general improvements to UE4, so we might possibly be seeing these types of performace patches other UE4 games in the future

I've only just started playing this on Xbox One, but I'm really enjoying it. Still have a lot to learn...

What the strawberry float is with the controls in this game? Why is attack also mapped to L3 and R3 or is that a bug? So easy to accidentally press them.

Can't think off the top of my head but I'm sure you can change control setups. Definitely isn't my current control setup you have there

This could be fun

I think my pad might be strawberry floated. Acting up when playing this and sometimes randomly attacks in Bloodborne when I press R3 :dread:

Is this bigger than PUBG now?

Yep, it’s on more platforms and is free though. EPIC are taking it in with the micro transactions. Think PUBG is a bigger streamed game still.

It's console's pushing it then cos it's not getting near PUBG's concurrent numbers on Steam.

How do you know the concurrent numbers of Fortnite on PC? It's not on Steam.

Oh I just presumed it would be but it’s on some EPIC service instead.

Hey Fortnite Community,

Fortnite Battle Royale is coming to mobile devices! On phones and tablets, Fortnite is the same 100-player game you know from PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac. Same gameplay, same map, same content, same weekly updates. Starting Monday, you can sign-up for the Invite Event on iOS. Support for Android will be coming in the next few months.

In partnership with our friends at Sony, Fortnite Battle Royale will support Cross Play and Cross Progression between PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, iOS and eventually Android. This means players across devices can squad up with friends and play together.

We believe this is the future of games. The same game on all platforms. Console quality graphics and action. Play when you want, where you want.

Interested to see how it controls on mobile but I'm pretty interested. Switch version is inevitable at some point too surely.

Microsoft has confirmed to The Verge that it’s working with Epic Games to enable this in the future.

“We have been working closely with the team at Epic Games for some time to bring this functionality to all current and future versions of Fortnite and expect it to be available on Xbox along with other platforms,” says a Microsoft spokesperson. “Microsoft has long been a leading voice in encouraging the adoption of cross-platform play and the potential of connecting players across PC, mobile and all consoles.”

Xbox Cross-Platform Play Coming to Fortnite!

Hey Fortnite Community,

We’re happy to announce today that in partnership with our friends at Microsoft, Fortnite will feature cross-play, cross-progression, and cross-purchase, between Xbox One, PC, Mac, iOS and (in the next few months) Android.

Contrary to what may have been implied, Microsoft has long been a leading voice in supporting cross-platform play, connecting players across PC, mobile and all consoles. We’ve been working together with them over the last several months to make this possible, and will bring this functionality to Fornite players on Xbox right along with other platforms.

With each new platform we support and every update we ship, we strive to bring Fortnite to more people, and make it easier to play together with friends. And, as always, cross-play is opt in.

As we shared a few days ago, starting Monday you can sign-up for the Fortnite Invite Event on iOS. On phones and tablets, Fortnite is the same 100-player game you know from Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Mac. Same gameplay, same map, same content, same weekly updates.

See you on the Battle Bus,

Fortnite Team

I think it’s a tiny matter too, considering that when it launched it had a glitch that allowed both consoles to play in same session.
