I'm most excited about the sword

Been playing this a fair bit with the kids since the DB came out. Nearly finished the BP already, Think it ends in 2 weeks anyway ( or so my nephew says )

NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGH! Is there anything worse than dying at the hands of someone wearing a piss poor skin?! Finished 2nd to the most god awful skin I've seen to date. It was black with a sort luminous electric blue skeleton design on it. Awful.

I'm finding myself getting a little bored of Fortnite. I picked up a season pass for this season and only have 3 skins left to unlock from the bonus battle pass items (level 180 something), which I've achieved through regularly doing the daily challenges. The only issue is, that's pretty much all I've been doing for weeks now. I don't go on for the enjoyment of the battle, I go on to grind for a while and then move on to something else.

I may skip the next battle pass and see if I can reignite the enjoyment of the game by focusing purely on the battles.

A new season is always a good time to get back in as they normally throw in some new mechanics and change the loot pool to keep things fresh.

Cancelled battle pass. Will now only play the game on Xcloud for the easy MS points. But other than, I am done with it. But I thoroughly enjoyed my time on it while it lasted. Really fun experience.

Whilst I dislike the battle pass the new season mechanics are a lot of fun. They picked the right part of the map to change this time around and the new weapons strike a good balance with the older ones. Plus they vaulted the godawful charge SMG, hopefully forever.

There are rumours around that because Epic have a new codenamed map on their staging servers that this might be the last season of Chapter 3 and we may end up with a new map before the end of the year. This could potentially mean shorter chapters in future as they seek to update the whole map on an annual basis rather than bi-annual.
