I have finished the main battle pass, I just want to at least get to the part where I can have Spider Gwen with her mask off which means going up about 3 levels which shouldn't be too hard.

Nice.

I got killed.by some guy on a bike with a rocket launcher :lol:

The new technical changes are really noticeable. No pop in, either geometry or shadows, improved lighting, reflections aren't screen space anymore so they don't disappear when you only look at the water.

I agree. The differences are noticeable. I think that they've perhaps stylised the new island with a different colour set which makes everything pop more too, but maybe it's all down to the engine.

I'm interested again. Though it seems like they've made a change to the weekly challenges as it's now called 'this week', which suggests they must be completed on the week in which they go live. Anyone know if that is true?

Played a fair amount last night and the lighting and colourisation really stood out to me, as well as giving me certain Chapter 1 vibes in select locations. Love the inclusion of motorbikes and vaulting a heck of a lot too.

In the course of a year Fortnite has basically gone from doing everything worse than apex (other than content load) to everything better than it (other than gunplay).

I'm really impressed but also worried for apex, feels like it's floundering. They go months without adding any significant gameplay changes while Foetnite does them basically every few week.

I've died a few times to people teleporting and it's definitely not my connection.

Nothing for me.

I picked up a crown on a pre game lobby the other day. Didn't realise until today that it's not a new additon, but somebody showing off their crown in the lobby. :slol:

I love the hammer and the misses loves it even more... for the first time today I recorded a bit of me and the Misses playing Fortnite, its from her point of view but you see Kerr9000grcade come into view a few times, the bad part I was recording the whole match and we came first but the footage died before the end , blooming typical.
