Bit of a bum but started this the other day, really like it last Forza I played was on 360 so is a big leap and is so much more fun to play than Horizon 3.

Except the Indy Car thing I had to do that was boring as hell.

To me both the Horizon and Motorsport branches serve very different purposes and audiences, as well as avoid the pitfall of trying to do both approaches in the same game which rarely works, even less so for racing. Sometimes I want to shave milliseconds off a lap time and perfect cornering, others i want to throw a ferrari through a fence or go offroading. I'm holding off FM7 because i've barely scratched the surface of FM5 and 6 and can't justify buying another with those two unfinished.

I did have Apex installed, but kept running into issues; mainly crashing during loads, refusing to sign into Live. Checking online it seems I wasn't the only one. Have any of these issues been resolved?

They do serve different 'audiences', one thing you can't really do in Horizon is use the in-car view cos it's absolutely crazy, Forza 6's works wonders though.
