Forza Fridays (20:00-22:00) - FH2 FREE with Gold through August

I finish work at 9 so I can be on from about 9.45 which obviously may not be any use.

I'll likely still be on, was playing for a good 4 hours last time.

I might be able to spare time away from trying to 100% Horizon 2 [which I'm moving back to having just 100%ed Horizon 3 and both DLCs]. About thirty dedicated hours to doing so, I think. Might be less.
Of course, I've got not real way of communication, so if I join you won't hear me though I'll probably still hear you [no idea how party chat and stuff works].

I'm usually on by 10 on a Thursday so can play then if it's still happening.

Im trying to get my forza reward level up before horizon4 so i can get more cars/money.

Ive been powering through H2 storm island, and i tried to get some acheivements on forza 5. The loading times are so fast compared to the current forzas. I forgot sean mcguire was in H2. I hope he makes a return for H4 :lol:

The points i dont have are mainly for the multiplayer achievements for the motorsport games, - but they take ages. My alternative is to do the endurance races on forza 7

They haven't confirmed the prizes yet, have they? I'm pretty near to the next tier myself, but I'm pretty sure I'm already there and it just refuses to update.

I was like wtf is the EastEnders guy doing here telling me what to do but I thought it was surely just coincidence that it looked like a melted version of him and sounded a bit like him.

Yeh I wish my Forza rewards updated properly too

Every game has a set number of things that need to be done - the most common one being 1000 Gamerscore for the game [which I'm pretty sure they fixed so it only counts the base game and not the DLC as well for the newest games, hence why that is the only one I'm still needing for Horizon 3]. Other things include days played, cars owned, and your driver level.

You can get a more detailed look at exactly how the points have built up on the same screen, and pressing on a game to open a more detailed look.

The new rewards for FH4 havent been announced yet.
At the moment the rewards arent getting redeemed today (so far). Speculation on the official forums is that the tiers are being updated for FH4. - That might mess my plans up a bit.

Ive just spent about an hour buying 150 AMC pacers and have managed to raise my Forza tier. Party on. :toot:

I might set up a hot lap weekly challenge for the people who don't have Gold. Although I suspect with FH4 coming they'll be plenty of new leaderboards for everyone to take part in.

Sounds like a good idea - how about using specific/weird car combinations like taking the reliant supervan or enormous racing truck rallying?

Yeh we could use the absurd vehicles to make it more interesting. We could probably use the existing bucket challenges come to think of it, that way we could do things like jump distances, drifting scores as well as race times. I'm pretty sure those only exist in FH3 right? FH1 and 2 only had basic race time challenges?

Yeah, why not set a challenge for the Reliant Supervan on the Hot Wheels DLC without wheel supports? That'd be an interesting one to see people attempt. Supercars on Blizzard Mountain would be another fun one, or at least on a lap around the lake.
Hopefully this course creator that's meant to be in Horizon 4 allows a lot of control so time trials can be possible.
