MK8 runs at glorious 59fps.

I do like Open world driving games like Burnout paradise and TDU though. :datass:

Cheers! Yeah I really enjoyed Burnout and the recent Criterion Need for Speed. My favourite thing is just cruising at sunset.

It's 30fps. Native 1080p.

I know, I posted that info above. I made that "prediction" when we thought it was more of a cross-gen game.

Same as Driveclub then on PS4, pretty much a Direct comparison then with that, no doubt Cooldawn may come in here and list off features that This game hasnt but hey ho, I think I might get this, loved first one.

What the devil are you talking about. I couldn't give two hoots about 'features' in a game. If a game is good, it's good. End of.

Secondly, this isn't a direct comparison at all. NeoGAF seem to be all over the comparison but then NeoGAF put GT6 in the next-gen comparison thread (flattering, I know). I'll only respond to a 'feature' list if some suggests false information. If the core game is amazing I really couldn't give a two hoots about additional features.

Also, this is an open-world game, DRIVECLUB isn't. Different requirements and measurable capabilities already evident from videos of DRIVECLUB and the new video for this game released today.

Vid pretty much as expected, can't tell anything yet except maybe they're going to emphasise the open world with the closing shot.

“Forza Horizon 2” is taking racing fans some places the series has never gone before: off the track, through the rain, and around the diverse landscapes of Southern Europe.

Turn 10 and Microsoft announced today that “Forza Horizon 2” is hitting Xbox One and Xbox 360 this fall, with the Xbox One version being developed by the guys and gals at Playground Games – who are pretty much The Avengers of racing game developers.

The aforementioned off-roading is just one of the many new features gamers can expect from “Forza Horizon 2,” but the ability to crash through fences, plow through forests and cornfields, and even find secret cars hidden in barns is certainly one of the coolest features at play here.

Online features include Car Clubs that hold up to 1,000 members, seamless drop-in/drop-out free-roaming multiplayer, and for Xbox One owners, the return of Drivatars (so you can compete with your friends, even when you're riding solo).

Of course, it's all about the cars, and “Forza Horizon 2” has over 200 of them, including the stunning cover car, the Lamborghini Huracan. The muscle cars, tuner cars, and exotics are all in here, along with off-road vehicles for that new bumpier terrain. And every car features a full cockpit view, along with working windshield wipers and headlights, which will come in handy at night... in the rain.

That’s right, “Forza Horizon 2” also features full day/night cycles and weather effects, which play out through the massive living world. You’ll get to race through Southern Europe dodging traffic, chasing down bullet trains and airplanes, and pulling off awesome stunts, all in an effort to make a name for yourself at the Horizon Festival.

“Forza Horizon 2” releases September 30 on Xbox One and Xbox 360.

No mention of the 360 version, which is understandable. Hopefully it won't be too much of a lesser game.

Doesn't look as nice as drive club, but I really enjoyed horizon and will have both a xbone and ps4 at some point so will no doubt be picking this up.

I'm sorry, the weather is accurately simulated to mathematically match real weather patterns including simulated rainbows.

What? Seriously, that has to be bullshit, why would anyone care.

Drive Club looks wank m8

Casual trash, not even open world. Whats the point?
