I wasn't even aware they were working on Fable. Nice.

Rumoured but not confirmed, I think, owing to the hiring for a game that sounds similar to Fable.

Fingers crossed then. Given the polish they deliver with FH, I cannot even begin to imagine what they could do with something like Fable.

Yeah I love Fable, a Playground Fable makes me cautiously very optimistic.

It's not just a rumour, it's all but confirmed.

Work is underway on a brand new, big-budget Fable game, Eurogamer can reveal.

Microsoft said in a statement it does not comment on rumour or speculation.

So nothing actually confirmed then.

So yeah exactly what I posted then.

It's more than just the fact that Playground are working on an open world game in new offices and people put 2 and 2 together, people literally told Eurogamer that it's Fable 4.

"People" told Eurogamer. Doesn't make it so. But I'm not surprised EG went into full tabloid mode, it's what they do.

Regardless, I hope its true. Playground could possibly do wonders with Fable.

92 On Metacritic now, I imagine there will be some attention seeking 6/5 / 10's bringing it down before long but it looks like, as expected, playground have delivered another stellar game.

Looking forward to getting stuck in to this on Friday, I'll probably get my most-downloaded paints and logos imported from earlier games and uploaded to the store, I think I made a GR layer group as well. Also is anyone else planning on making a GR club and is getting in on Friday?

Will be Tuesday for me as this early access stuff is just yet another way the industry exploits us (and I'm on Game Pass for next month) but would join a GR club, someone made of stronger morale fiber than me can set it up and be leader, I was born to follow (and I'm lazy)

Thats fair enough - i only got the ultimate edition because i was going to get everything for it anyway and its cheaper than getting it all separately. Forza (well, Horizon specifically after all the stuff they pulled with motorsport 7) is the only series i'll break the rule in my sig - preordering anything/season passes are a gamble that whatever you eventually get will be good, and Playgroud Games are a very safe bet in that regard.

Here's how the route creator will work:

It looks pretty robust - you go to an event start location, pick the creator and then just start driving wherever you like, pressing a button to plop down checkpoints you can make wider or narrower. You can have up to 5 routes saved per location and can go for up to 40 miles per created route, as well as pick the season it will take place in.

Still looks the mutts nuts on the base X1. Playground have done a great job with both consoles.
