Downloaded the demo, got to title screen, clicked start and it kicked me back to dash board. I've uninstalled it as I'm getting the full game free with game pass so will wait.

I haven't found my house yet, but I have found a place I used to hang out in my teens. Amazing to see it in a game.

EDIT: and somewhere else that's just a few miles from here.

Blimey there’s a big visual difference between the 60fps and 4K modes.

I can't see a difference between the 1080 60fps and the 4k 30fps. I always struggle with the frame rate comparisons.

I dont think it does. I did the opening race then quit, then went back into the demo and had to do it again. Unless you have to get further before quitting out?

The preload appears to have started, about 56gb or so according to my xbone. I might give the demo another go this week but delete it to get some space back.

Wish I could be joining in on the pre-load. I know I've got both Horizon 4 and Motorsport 7 free with that One X, but I know I'd be getting a lot out of the DLC stuff. And I can certainly use the few days early that the Ultimate edition gives through my laptop - even if it's just to get to the point that the demo ends on.

It could have made for some really cool bucket list challenges other than the uninspired “reach x MPH through the speed cameras”

Just had a look at the horns and they have parp-y renditions of the Halo, Sea of Thieves and Killer Instinct themes, as well as the actual Windows XP shutdown sound :lol:

I'm about 250 points off tier 10. Hopefully my milage in Horizon 2 track before Friday. That and some more Apex should see me in to tier 10 :datass:

Decided not to try the demo, but this does look absolutely stunning. That said, as with a lot of new titles with an open world premise I'm holding off picking it up until a later date. As it is I've only completed about 25% of FH3.
