I had a feeling that would be fixed pretty quickly is it is a bit silly.

I'm just playing the game normally and using Forzathon points to buy Super wheelspins to get money as I only have the 2 expensive houses to go now.

I completed the weekly Forzathon challenge in about two hours. If I'd have realised they were that easy I wouldn't have completely skipped them during summer and autumn. Then again, I already own the spotlight car thanks to a wheelspin, so I'm not sure whether that counts as cheating.

In the podium scenes, do the other drivatars have the same clothes / vicotry dance that that player has selected? Ive got the royal wave and ballet dance on mine.

Spent a while just bombing about driving roads I've not driven.

Love just bombing about in a Forza game.

I'm about half a mill off edinburgh castle, then to save up again for the other one down the road :dread: might grab the other cheaper houses for quality of life purposes first though.

I'd say save up for Edinburgh Castle first, as you get a good number of super wheelspins for buying it [10, I think]. That should net you a good amount of money back. It's what I've started doing now.

Yeah I get gooseberry fool all from them too.

I do then as they come up and I have about 1.5 mill and have spent sod all so far.

What's the deal with houses, why should I buying gooseberry fool?

They are this game's version of multiple festival sites, each one has the autoshow, garage and auction so you don't have to go back to the main site every time. Some also have bonuses like the one which doubles your forzathon points, fast travel anywhere, unlock skill songs on the radio, that kind of thing. Also the more expensive ones come with wheelspins and exclusive cars.

I've been saving every credit to get the most expensive one out of the way, however the second most expensive on is still 10 mill :dread:

I'm starting to take umbridge with the fact that like asscreed odyssey, without the vip cash doubler bonus this game would be even more of a grind than it already is.

Ahh ok, I'm cool with driving about unless there is more map I've not seen yet it isn't that big a world that I can't get back in a couple of minutes.

I'm never going to do everything as I'll get bored as I always do with driving games so I'll just do the races and not add to the list of stuff I'll get bored of.

I've found that you can use rivals mode like a free fast travel system - pick one of the drag strips near to where you want to be, do a quick run and afterwards you'll still be at the event location.

Speaking of which this game's approach to a live service model can make it feel a bit aimless - once you're done with all the single player events and done the handful of championships each week you really have to make your own fun or go to rivals mode for the 'real' challenge. However the game is extremely poor at signposting that rivals mode even exists, let alone getting people to try it. Despite millions of people playing the game some of the rivals boards have barely a couple of hundred times on them. In the previous game it would pull your times for any singleplayer race into rivals mode and offer a close time for you to challenge after each race, automatically populating the leaderboards with your friends' times. Now thats gone and i seem to be almost the only one in the club with any times at all.

I went for Brombourgh castle instead because, its 5m less, you get the same 10 super wheelspins, you get the barnfind which helps with the achievement, and you get the castle achievement. To my knowledge theres no achievement for all the houses. I think i made about 0.25m off those 10 super wheelspins. I dont really see any benefit to buying Edinburgh castle?

Thinking about it i guess edinburgh is an end-game money sink, even though it does come with a lovely alfa romeo p3. I'll have a look and see if anyone's selling one on the auction house, i might just get one there instead if its significantly cheaper.

I think so because I have seen some really odd looking outfits from members on here, I have not seen any of the victory dances apart from mine because obviously I win every time 8-)

For all the stuff it dumps on your map there’s not actually much content in here. They really need to do more weekly challenges if that’s the route they are going to take. Once you’ve done a few races that’s it till next week, apart from the daily challenges you have to log in to tick off at least every 3 days

I guess it’s not different to Horizon 2 and 3 which padded with doing the same races over and over again

Hoping I’ve unlocked all the car horns and chinos soon. Haven’t had much luck with spins the last 3-4 days. Best win has been 20,000 credits :(

I’m not sure what was happening last night when I joined your game Pete. You kept disappearing  didn’t seem to want to put us in games with other people either

Yeah, I’m wondering how much they are holding back for later. I can see myself going back to FH3 at this rate.
