Got a few speed camera and jumps to 3 star now and I'm done. I'm having trouble with the speed cameras over 220MPH, the leaderboards for those challenges seem to be completed by people using an Agera but it looks like it's a DLC car :x I bought a McLaren Senna and I can get that to about 220 so have been able to do nearly all the speed challenges apart from a handful.

Has anyone else done them without the DLC?

I know I did all the ones in 3 with a Lambo Cento, and there's one in this game so I'm going to try with that. The Veyron I'm using doesn't have enough acceleration to hit that 240 one by the windmills - even changing the gearing to be as close to the needed number as possible doesn't work with it.

Forza 4 Horizon has best launch sales of the Forza series history.

https://venturebeat.com/2018/10/23/forza-horizon-4-has-best-launch-sales-in-franchises-13-year-history/

Just goes to show that gamepass doesn't seem to be taking sales away from these big games.

Yeh I'm pretty sure that historically I've used the Veyron, but I cant get it to 240 even with tuning and manual gears unless the camera is on a massive straight and doesn't have any bends in the road. I'll buy a Cento tonight and see if that works, thanks for the tip!!

A top end Porche with a good downloaded tune will do the trick, 2018 GT3 if that's what it's called (it's the one on the cover of Forza 7 anyway) That or the Spyder should do most of them. One on the Motorway I used a Buggati.

Was dreading the Drifting but managed 3 star about 13/14 of them last night once I got the hang on one for the drift pack cars and got a bit of time tonight so hopefully I'll be done soon as well as my Game Pass subscription hasn't got long left on it.

What about the Chiron? (Not tried it myself, but surely it’s faster?)

Okay. Perfect car for the speed traps. The Koenigsegg Regara. It's only got one gear, so there's no need to worry about perfect shifts, and no mods are needed to make it work. Only downside is the rear-wheel drive, but if you can handle that, you'll smash all the speed traps easily. The only one it struggles with is the motorway trap, but after an upgrade to X class it should just about manage it.

The route creator is very easy to use, but it seems hard to find other peoples' custom routes among the "normal" blueprints of the pre-made ones. I made a dirt race loop around Derwent Water and plan to make a couple more rally routes involving the mountains and maybe a really complex one by the quarry, however I can imagine taking a break from it soon or getting more into rivals. Nice to see the Hot Wheels cars back, even if they are going to be seasonal/forzathon shop rewards.

Just smashed all but one of the speed traps with that Koenigsegg Regara with little effort, and the only one I didn't use it for was an off road one. Then blitzed through the Worlds Fastest Rentals story. Just wish the roads wouldn't be wet most of the time so I could have put more power into it.

I've made a route. It starts from the Astmoor Rally Trail event. search for Astmoor Rally Rail (not a spelling mistake)

Tried out a few custom routes and a couple of the new story chapters. Enjoyed both. Seems like they've put a bit more into the story with 2 stages & more chat.

I'm having a problem. Before work I created a route and called it Road Test 1 but I have no idea where to find it to play it.

I have a feeling it's bloody obvious and I'm just being thick as usual but where are my routes kept?

Since the AI seem hardlocked to follow the driving line, who wants to bet come winter there'll be plenty of races with just a start and a finish at the ends of the lake set to a different season? I'll probably give it a go tomorrow if I don't get caught up with more PR stunts.

Also, I have 70 ultimate passes yet Forza Rewards hasn't recorded that. It's been near enough a week or more since I got them as well, since I've been focused on the PR stunts.

If you've done the event blueprint and saved it it should be saved at the event marker where you started the route
