It's a five year rolling contract I think, so they wouldn't get the rights back until 2020

Probably because of Disney announcing the Star Wars Episode 8 release date, the second film of this has gone back a week. Hopefully it gets shitcanned before then.

Would it have killed them to make those containment suits a little bluer?

I really wish they wouldn't announce films years in advance. I mean I have no interest in watching this one as Fox's Fantastic Four films have been bad, but I'll probably watch it anyway and now I have to wait 2 years to see it >_<

That's the sequel

The first reboot film is out in August this year, although I can appreciate it's easily forgettable amongst everything else due out over this summer.

Does Doom appear in his own series? Reading those panels Mori posted has me wanting more but I cannot stand the Fantastic Four.

Hey, that rhymes.

Hey, that rhymes.

While they're both written by Jonathan Hickman only the first set where Doom's wearing a silver cloak is from Fantastic Four (technically it's from FF), the second set with green cloak Doom is from New Avengers.

Even if you don't like Fantastic Four I would strongly recommend reading Jonathan Hickman's Fantastic Four run which are some of my favourite comics of recent times. His Avengers/New Avengers is fantastic too and follows on from the Fantastic Four run. It's basically one large run culminating in the big Secret Wars event this year.

I don't particularly care much about the Fantastic Four either unless they're being written by a writer as good as Hickman. His Doom characterisation in particular is the best.

Image Hmmm, something to think about then. Really enjoyed reading those panels but then Fantastic Four.... Thanks Mori

I absolutely loved Hickman's Fantastic Four and I wasn't a fan of the characters previously. It's probably not the kind of book you're expecting it to be, it's quite high-concept space/science stuff.
