I'd be freaked out if people start trying to hug me in the street.

This is one of those things that annoys me, and I know it shouldn't, but I can't help it. Saw a group of people doing it in Canterbury a year or so back, they think they are so individual and witty, but the truth is the whole thing is now 'old', and they're not even close to the 'cool' they think they are for doing it. It's like a desperate plea for attention and the whole "look at me, I'm so random" bollocks.

I really am a miserable bugger I know, but it's not my fault. x

They are when they're from someone you know and have some meaning, not when they're from some 'edgy' weirdo on the street accosting you when you're trying to get somewhere.

If that edgy weirdo is a hot girl at university they're awesome.

We have a similar thing in Glasgow. But with less hugs and more stabbing and you rarely get a say in the matter. And they actually take your money so it's not really free. In fact, it's not really the same thing at all. Come to think about it I should phone the police and possibly go to the hospital to get this stab wound seen to.

There was a campaign for this on our High Street not long ago. In fact a few of my friends were part of it.
