I've just recently created it and some feedback would be great. Anything that can make the website better would be great, I really want to get this off the ground running..

Hi!

Just wanted to point out that in the section 'What I Do', the text and overlaid icons appear the same colour (white) on my browser (IE) so it's unreadable!

Good luck!

Cheers, Which IE are you using? They're using HTML 5 / CSS3 elements so that could be why...

What about responsive? It's a major selling point to potential clients nowadays and it will help you get work.

Also the contact form doesn't have validation. Otherwise it looks good.

I've changed the design for the layout, last one for a while...

It's simple, looks fresh and easy to update.

Tbh you'll get far more work by emailing your best looking work directly to people rather than have them find your site. My site looked great but I didn't get one bit of work through it. The best thing to do is create a single page PDF that looks fantastic and call it a portfolio taster, then email that along with a typed and to the point covering paragraph saying VERY briefly what you do and why they should respond.

I'm going to be honest and I don't mean to sound harsh but you need to work on your design elements. I'm a believer in that you have to lead by example and your website doesn't really show anything that can't be done on a custom template website like Wix which is free.

Also, a small typo.

'Hello, I'm Jamie Throup and I'm Freelance Web Developer based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.'

Missing an 'a' after 'and'.

Cheers fellas. This site was made quickly before christmas to showcase work and yeah, designs not great but I'm not making excuses. I'm going to redesign it soon and make it look ace.

Thanks for the feedback
