So, this weekend Friends will finally be leaving our screens as E4 relinquishes its rights to show countless repeats of the show.

Will you miss it? Do you care?

Admittedly it's probably going to be picked up on some other channel (Comedy Central?) but will it be the same?

I personally will miss flicking through countless channels of rubbish, deciding there's nothing worth watching and just switch over to an episode of Friends. I won't even laugh at the jokes anymore as I've watched them so many times. It's just comforting like a nice pair of slippers.

Slippers

It was a product of it's time. I used to love the show but that love has long since past

I have the box set so it doesn't really affect me. It'll be a shame to see it go, pretty sure Comedy Central is picking it up though.

Oh for fuuu.... :fp:

Just let it be off our TV screens for atleast a couple of years. If Comedy Central are thinking bringing back old shows, bring back Seinfeld!

As long as Gold never stop the Only Fools and Horses reruns I'm happy.

...all this he saw, for one moment breathless and intense, vivid on the morning sky; and still, as he looked, he lived; and still, as he lived, he wondered.

Still one of the best comedies ever.

Seinfeld is great, not as good as Friends though.

Haven't watched it for years.

However I wish my brain would stop repeating "Taxi". Every night, on a loop. The only respite I get is when it decides, for a laugh, to play "Cheers". Even then Norm is replaced by Andy Kaufman. Not as bad as the time it decided to play "Wonder Woman" with Andy Kaufman as Wonder Woman.

I used to like flicking it on every now and again (my old housemate used to watch it during the day and then repeated at 6 or whenever EVERYDAY :fp: ) but I can't say I've watched more than one or two episodes in the last few years. Can't ever imagine wanting to put a DVD in just to watch it either.

Oh and all of you wrong people, Seinfeld is great :|

4 have been showing too many of the later episodes, it got annoying when they all started popping out babies, much better in the early 90s.
