Look at the start of phase 2. I dodged the swoop but not the Aeonia blast. :slol:

The strawberry float is that tuning fork weapon?! It's like you're playing a different game to me!

Also, I had no idea you could drink multiple flasks in one animation, I've been pressing and then pressing again :fp:

You get the "tuning fork" from Mohg in Moghwyn Palace. Easiest route is to do the White Mask Varre questline and you get to teleport to Mohg to fight him. WMV is at the church of blood in liurnia. Use his remembrance and get the fork.
It's arcane but has awesome bleed too. Melted Melania in no time. I've got 3 or 4 so could drop you one if you are PS5?

How do you drink multiple flasks then?

I'm 90hrs in, lvl 85 and just reached Atlas Plateau a couple of hours ago. Only just about holding my own and flasks use is high.
I'm a melee character

So much of this game I don't understand how to use things or set myself up but still enjoying it

Just spam Square as your character is drinking one flask.
Have a look for guides on YouTube for builds. I'd suggest a mage/sorcery build at lvl 85. Decent for low contact, long range fighting. Poison mist could be useful too to help you cheese that Draconic Tree Sentinel stopping you getting into the capital. Just sneak around him without aggroing him and poison him

45 hours in and level 94. Feel like I'm blasting through it this time. Need to put about 10 levels into my intelligence though.

Damn man your fork thing absolutely rips, looks like a cheat code!

Respeced in ng1 to an int build but tbh I don't enjoy it as much even though in some ways it's easier than melee. Found my dex build more fun; slashing away with dual wield light swords.

I loved my initial Samurai build with twin bandit curved swords and they got me all the way to Radagon. It's all about the right talismans but DEX is fun.

Anyone else concerned that it has been 3 weeks since the DLC was announced and there has been no further info? Makes me wonder if they have bitten off more than they can chew with this one.

Hope i'm wrong though. Obviously.

From have never been that arsed about technical issues in the past, so don't worry - I'm sure some janky DLC is on its way.

Anyway they've added ray-tracing to the game now, just in case people with higher end gaming rigs were missing out on the jank. Jank for all!

Love Elden Ring BTW.

Oooh, definitely want to see what this looks like. Downloading now. Fully expect to be uninstalling again in a day or two.

It's cool that they're still working on the tech / engine side. Saying that, I've seen some initial impressions of the raytracing and seems to be both quite demanding and pretty subtle.

Hopefully a later patch (maybe the DLC patch?) will add DLSS, which would let them push the raytracing further -- seems the logical next step.

It's a pain in the arse. I had a terrible time beating the Elden Beast with my sorcery build, in the end I ditched sorceries altogether and used Tiche + Dark Moon Great sword.

I took currently in development to mean we're not seeing it for a while yet, never mind when it'll release.

I'm using tiche (who has a mind of her own most of the time) but I'm getting one-shotted by any contact.

Perseverance. Had it down to 5% and ran out of flasks earlier.

Still love how much the challenge of various parts of this differs across builds/players. I found Elden Beast to be an absolute cakewalk, bested him first try without too much effort at all. :datass:

99.9% sure I just got lucky, but I'll still take the win!

Had to get a cooperator involved but he was great, without taking over. Just took aggro and let me do the rest.
On to NG+++++!

Took a screenshot upon beating the elden beast. Only now do I realise how close I was to not beating it. Thats a single hit left on there :dread:

I also had the thing in the top left equipped but never actually activated it. There for placebo reasons only.
