Damn man that was a slow play! I'm not the quickest myself but think it took 65 hours to beat it, and I thought that was longer than average.

I'm at about 300+ hours now but on NG+++++.
I've had a break for a week which is a good thing.

I was pretty thorough about trying to complete all of Limgrave before moving on to the lakes, and then tried the same in Liurnia but found too many areas I struggled with, and probably as a result of playing the way I did, felt burned out. I double checked my playtime and it was 56 hrs. There's probably an amount of time where I had the game running but left idle, but probably not more than a couple of hours.

I'm gooseberry fool at Souls games really. This kept me playing because there was always something easier to go and do generally, but things like the boss fights would be an absolute sponge on time and motivation

My first play took 170 hours and I loved every minute :wub:

I played the game for just over 100 hours and made it up to the Mountaintops of the Giants. Don't know if I'll return to it. Had fun with it, but it started to drag for me some hours (or tens of...) ago... but this guy I work with finished the game and did not "find the fun" for the entire time he played it. Which was, I think he said, around 400 hours.
That's 400 hours for a game he didn't pay for because it was a gift - and a recommendation - from a friend (a friend who just now, over a year after release, is finally starting to play the game for himself).

I'm intrigued to check how long I played, and what level I was, on the PS5 before starting afresh on the PC. I definitely think I've gotten through it a lot quicker this time.

I thought I'd have a game on ED as it's been months. I was in Farum Azula when I loaded up with the Maliketh fight next on the list. My control memory is shot. This was my 2nd attempt on NG++++++...

I'm not even sure why I was so tanky. Probably because of the sentinel but I can't remember.
I was getting hit way too much. I'm sure another half second and Maliketh's death would have gone through.
Did it next go anyway.

Also BNT can be very tardy in attacks so running away hoping she does the heavy lifting is a rough strategy.

I know, right. I genuinely don't know how I originally finished Dark Souls with fat rolls, let alone managed Smough and Ornstein on the first try. :lol:

Just finished this on NG7.
3 strawberry floating days on Elden Beast. Radagon I could more or less do with my eyes closed but the beast got me with something, no matter what I did.
The spiral glintstone attack worked wonders in the end.
Thats it until the DLC. Level 305 and out.

Looks like I got my journeys mixed up. I've just been given the option to start Journey 8, which is the last where the difficulty increases I think.

Either way, I'll go again. Level 320 now. Levelling up costs over a million runes. Here is my first attempt at Elden Beast last night. Look at my health bar...
