http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Retro_Game_Masterhttp://www.crunkgames.com/?p=87I'm sure some of you have played or heard of Retro Game Challenge on the Nintendo DS. This is the TV show it was based off. The show sees Japanese Comedian Shinya Arino play though a series of retro video game challenges. The show also cotains interviews and tours of video game shops, game centers (arcades), video game expos and other video game related places. The show started in 2003 and is still going today, many of the episodes can be found subtitled on youtube.
I heard the video game news site Kotaku localised some of the episodes but apparently they did a terrible job of it so you are better off watching on youtube.
The show is far and away the best video game show I have ever seen, it has drama, it is funny, interesting and it never gets boring. Also the episodes are an hour long.
Here are some episode links:
Episodes are currently down, list to be updated.

the poor bastard, being exposed to the original Prince of Persia for the first time.
So bizarre to see his reaction to what's a very well known game in the west, too.

I was late to this, just started watching from November last year or so. But this is the best thing evar! - Watched all the subbed episodes to date. Hoping the subbers get round to Donkey Kong Country, F-Zero and Ocarina of Time, as well as the most recent episode Battletoads on the NES as it's rock hard!!
The original episodes subbed are the way to go, the Kotaku versions with horrible American voiceover are cringeworthy
, no wonder it didn't take off on Kotaku.
I tend to get episodes from here:
http://www.gaki-no-tsukai.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2653 or Youtube.

Prince of persia was great.
Ultra man is easily one of the best episodes, that episode could get a physical reaction out of anyone, I was jumping out of my chair and everything.

Prince of persia was great.
Of course. I just mean that it's a bastard-hard game.
I'm not particularly familiar with the SNES version, but I adored the Amiga version.

Instead of doing essays I'm at glued to the Mario episode
It looked so gooseberry fool at first but it's very comical. The new A.D. guy he has never speaks/is very quiet.
"So you studied in America?"
"Yes"
"You must be fluent in English?"
"No I never really spoke to anyone"
"Which do you prefer America or Japan"
"Japan"
"Are you glad you are back in Japan"
"Yes"
"Where were you more comfortable?"
"America"
Good times

Picked his up myself a couple of months back, some great moments on there. I think the buildup to the Qust of Ki live challenge was amazing. The Live Mighty Bombjack challenge was great as well.
Edit: Also, you're missing some links. If you're sticking the youtube links up, I recommend the ones by ancientcircle.

no I'm not. If there are missing episodes then it is because they are not on youtube.
EDIT: I've added every episode I could find to the OP.

He's just really bad at Flashback... but I'm not sure what the SNES version was like controlwise.

@ Prince of Persia episode. Shame he was playing the PC version, he could have type in 'Prince Megahit' at the DOS prompt when loading it.
