I hope you can keep up.

As well know Guile's theme goes with anything, so would be fitting for a wedding.

And after the ceremony you can go home and be a family man.

Make sure you have a really good quality sound system and can make this stupidly epic.

Crank it up and rip the knob off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing geeky about this at all. Guessing it took 6 years to convince your intended this was a good idea, or 6 years to find someone who would agree to it. For walking down the aisle, the clear choice is Tetris, with each person walking down the aisle individually (rotating, obviously), locking into position at the alter.

Yes?

Dala's wife walked down the isle to Zelda's Lullaby IIRC.

Off topic a bit, but I've always thought the firelink shrine music from dark souls would be fantastic for a funeral.

You had Zeldas Lullaby last time, why not have the theme song from Skyward Sword - its Zeldas Lullaby in reverse.

Could probably get the Lorule theme song ready for when your wife finds that out though..

Save that for the divorce...j/k obvs, congrats and best of luck to you both :)

Serious suggestion: Great Fairy Fountain for signing the register, it's a lovely bit of music and is designed to loop for as long as you need it!

Anything to prevent Ed Sheeran being played. Last time I went with the orchestral version of Zelda's Lullaby from Ocarina of Time. Safe to say it would not be appropriate to have it again...

Any suggestions?

Congratulations fella!

I remember playing Final Fantasy VIII on the PS2 I borrowed from my friend. I got up to this scene which was romantic and dramatic and had great music that enhanced the moment. Waltz for the Moon. Here is a Square Enix piano version of it:

Also All Eyes on Me which is the melody as a full tune (not a waltz)

If you perform a synchronised wedding dance to it then you MUST share the video here!

Cor, video game music is great, isn't it? Thanks for the ideas, folks. Still haven't found one that I'm keen on though (apart from Great Mighty Poo, obvs) so I'm still open to suggestion. I've racked my brains to come up with some ideas of my own but at this rate she's going to be walking down the aisle to the sound of Pac Man going 'Wacca, wacca, wacca, wacca'...

I don't know about going down the aisle to it, but if you include it in the playlist somewhere you could be the first people in the world (probably) to play the theme from the new Mario at your wedding.

Okay, I think I've nailed it. Picture the scene: she enters the church, takes a step forward... your eyes meet, a big exclamation mark appears above her head...

It's super effective!

I was listening to some music on Youtube the other day and one of the comments was something like "man I'm going to walk down the aisle to this song at my wedding!". Can't remember what it was...

You could pretty much listen to any compilation/best of video from Final Fantasy/Zelda/any JRPG series and find inspiration from there.
