Game of thrones opening credits - did you notice it changed every week?

After the excellent house of the dragon, we decided to rewatch game of thrones (currently up to series 6). Chatting about this with colleagues at work, (all of whom we're huge fans of the show until the end series retroactively ruined everything) I mentioned how the little changes in the credits each week is such a great touch, and they all looked at me like I was mad. None of them knew this happens.

If you haven't seen this, nearly every episode has a slightly different detail of the world, reflecting where characters currently are, along with any geographical changes that have occurred (winterfell burning being immidiately reflected). Any new locations to be introduced in that episode are shown in the credits first, along with their relative position to places we are already familiar with.

Where is the option for "I knew this and watched the credits each time"?

I tried paying attention during the opening credits of House of the Dragon, but i didn't fully understand what they are trying to show and it always seemed to be the same.

Definitely knew this and watched the credits every single time, was a really neat touch about the credits alongside the superb intro music.

I don’t have the heart to go back and watch Game of Thrones :cry:

Still need to watch House of the Dragon though.

And yes I did realise that the intro changed. Thought this was obvious.

I normally skip intro's but Game of Thrones was essential viewing. The map was a great detail but also the music really revved you up for the episode.

I knew this but only because someone on here posted about it at the time.

I still skipped the credits anyway because I always thought GoT was a bit gooseberry fool and it was enough of a chore watching the main episode itself.

I didn't know it was every week, but I did see a few gradual changes as it went.

I always hated that bloody dirge-like, grating GoT theme, so often forwarded the intro.

We always watch the intro, even on the rewatch. Turn it up loud for the theme tune :datass:
