The history bits of the Blu-rays are actually really cool and they can make you as knowledgeable as a bookwanker without having to read anything

Yea, those things are brilliant. Great for nerding out and getting loads of backstory and also hearingMaegery's voice one.... Last... Time....

That was absolutely strawberry floating incredible. I was shouting at the TV throughout and had to pause and take a break at one point for my heart rate to come back down. The final two episodes in particular of this season were absolutely compelling

What's with all the "OMG JON A TARGERYEAN CONFIRMED!!!". We didn't hear anything she said and just a look on Ned's face that said it wasn't his kid after all. :?

It was in the books.

Before I get reported, that was a joke. It was actually confirmed in the comics.

So Ned was smashing his sister?

What's the deal here?

I didn't get the scene. If that was John Snow and that is his son...does that mean he was having sex with his sister?

Pay attention for strawberry float sake. I know you're just dying to blame this on book splits.

Literally the first thing Ned says when he walks in the room is "Lyanna".

Yes. That's why he never says who the mother is.

It's not his son. He was asked to raise him as his own because The Full Monty wanted to wipe out the Targaryens. Jon's dad is Dany's brother. Supposedly.

Ned thinks his sister was kidnapped by the heir to the throne Rhaegar Targaryen. When he tracks her down at the end of the war, he finds her dying having just given birth to her and Rhaegar's son.

You couldn't let him think it for a bit longer?

Sigh.

In Derek's defense, I didn't realise it was his sister.
